I have to admit, I had my doubts about ordering "School Memory Album" for my grandson who just entered K. Being there are no pictures or description, I researched via the internet and was able to find a site showing one picture of the inside at Teacher Resources. I just received the album and am thrilled! The album is: hard cover spiral bound, first page "this album belongs to", second page has family tree, and the following pages starting with grade K has two pages with one double pocket to keep all the treasured memories to come! First page of each grade has area for school, teacher, picture, height, and signature. The higher grades vary with the information, but at the same time has more then enough room for whatever information you would like to add. The pages are colorful yet very pleasing to the eye. This album was exactly what I was looking for and highly recommend for keeping memories of these cherished years! Although, I purchased for my grandson, would be excellent for a girl as well. Not to hesitate making this purchase!

I was so happily surprised when I got this school memory album. I have a different one for my daughter and it pales in comparison. I love the large (full 8.5x11) pockets to keep special school work and art work in. There are fun places to journal and the graphics are great. I will for sure get this same one for my other 2 kids. The only thing I do wish it had was a place for pre-school...but this is only K-6. Still...love it!

I love this book. I had doubts because there was no pictures online, but I read a review and decided to risk it. I'm so happy I did. The book has a place for a school photo each year, 2 pockets to put reportcards and art work, plus it has spaces for pictures of friends and spots for the child to write in their school information, age, and other answers to different questions depending on the grade (ex- if they like to color, to what they would like to achieve the following year.) This book will save the momories for a life time without the hours of scrapbooking. Perfect for the busy Mom or Dad!

**The book is bounded, but you may need to keep an eye on any little ones who want to flip though the book. My daughter pulled the first page out by trying to unclip a pin I had added. Im not sure how she managed to do this so quickly because the pages are fairly thick.

We didn't know what School Memory album was until my wife's cousin in Canada mentioned to her. I purchased 4 albums for our grand niece in Sasktchewan, Canada. When we received it was a pleasant surpise. The album was well organized with space for class photos, events, other important activities. After seeing the album, we ordered 2 more for our 5 and 2 year grandsons.I hope they will share thier school memories with others. I recommend this product to parents and grands parents to give it to their children and grand children.

I was really pleased when I received this school memory album. Very sturdy book with a cute design throughout. The design grows with the child, so it's not too cutesy or irrelevant when the child is in 4th, 5th, or 6th grades. Each grade has a place for a school picture and recording school events and child's interests, as well as a two-sided pocket for storing momentos (limited capacity, of course). I'm only on 1st grade, but I'm very happy with the book. Easy to complete and my son loved filling it out with me. I hope to find something comparable for 7th to 12th grade. Great keepsake! Just what I was looking for.

I just got 3 of these books as a gift for my children and have to say I am so pleased with them! (FYI: There is a link on line at the teacher created website if you want to see all the pages inside the book.) It's even more attractive in person than I expected. It's full color and very cute inside. Each grade has 4 pages for the child to fill in things such as their favorite thing that happened that year and places for the child to write their name so you can see how their writing changes. There is plenty of space for pictues, drawings and journaling. Plus the set up and designs on the pages seems to mature as you child gets into the higher grades. This is a wonderful book!

Another big bonus is the pocket pages (2 for each grade) are big enough to hold 8 1/2 x 11 sheets without folding them. Its a great book for the money!! Five stars all the way!!!

Don't we all too frequently put report cards, artwork, pictures of projects, the first day of school, school pictures, pictures of school events and birthday parties in a box? Worse, you neglect to place any school-related memorabilia in a safe place. Just let it accumulate? Nix all of that!

Amazon offers several school memory keepsake books. I recently bought--for my youngest great-niece in Pre-K4--a school album through a school fund-raiser. It is a complete Grades 1-12 album. I like the one in this review better because it separates lower and upper grades. This review album starts with kindergarten and ends with sixth grade. One drawback (to me) is that it does not include the pre-K classes.

(It would be easy to make your own pre-K album. Just buy a 1/2 inch (or whatever size) business binder, a package of those double-sided manilla pocket sheets, and scrapbook paper. Put together your own pre-K memory book.)

"School Memory Album" has spaces for the school picture, grade specific information (teacher, friends, subjects), a double-pocket file to hold report cards and other items of interest.

The School Memory Album is a short but concise album/guide meant to preserve special memories from kindergarten through sixth grade. The guide includes sections to place pictures, sheets with special headings to jot down special events that took place during the school year, and folders in which to place special documents, additional pictures, and anything else with sentimental value. It offers pre- made pages for each elementary school year, making it a nice, convenient alternative to scrapbooking, which requires making up everything as you go. The pages in this guide already have labels and headings, so all you have to do is fill in the blanks or paste a photo.

The pages in the School Memory Album are colorful, with different patterns and objects for each year. The same is true with the folders- they each have their own unique colors and patterns. The drawings and figures on each page are juvenile, but they gradually become more mature with each passing year. Children will like the individual pages and their fun themes and parents will like working with their youngster to fill in the blanks.

If there is one thing to criticize with the School Memory Album, it is the limited amount of available space. Each school year includes only five pages on which to preserve memories. This isn't much, and not only are there very few blanks to fill in, there is also very little space on which to write. Granted, prompts such as... My Teachers Name Is.... do not require much space, but more general headings like When I Think About Third Grade, I Think of...... and..... I Feel Really Good about Myself When it Comes to.........offer only a few lines to compose your child's thoughts. You have to cut corners, abbreviate, etc., in order to squeeze your feelings in the designated space.

Elementary school is full of challenges, achievements, milestones, and most of all, memories. Preserving these important moments is important and the School Memory Album is a nice little album in which to enjoy the cherished photos and memories from your child's elementary school years. A few more pages and more space would be nice, but this is still a well- designed book that will help keep your child's memories safe and sound long after sixth grade is a distant memory.

Very nice book and keepsake. Only problem is that you cannot store a lot of things in it. I plan to have a keepsake box for crafts, special papers, etc.

Nicely laid out, very colorful, very organized book. Lots of room for your own creativity, too. I gave as a gift...
