5.0 out of 5 stars For perfectly starched clothes and awesome crafts! January 21, 2013
I can't say enough about this liquid starch! I mix a little with water in a spray bottle and spritz my way to perfectly ironed garments every time! I have also used this in crafty ways and it was amazing. About a year ago I got a bee in bonnet about making over my pantry. Darn you Pinterest! In the late 90's and early 00's, Christopher Lowell had a show on the Discovery Channel and he demonstrated wall papering with fabric dipped in liquid starch. So that's what I did in my pantry. Let me tell you, it works like a charm!! I cut my fabric pieces to the sizes I needed then I dipped them in a bowl of liquid starch and used my fingers to squeeze out the excess. Then I used my hands and an old store discount card (really any plastic card type thing would work) to smooth it you. It's been up for almost a year and still holding strong despite the Texas humidity! People don't even realize that it's fabric until they notice the pillows and such scattered about my kitchen/dining/living rooms.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for artistic Paper Mache February 2, 2012

Liquid Starch isn't as in demand as it was in days gone by. I don't use this for clothing or ironing or anything like that. I do use this for making paper mache objects and it is terrific. You can dip strips of paper towel or cloth or newspaper in this then use it to create strong paper mache objects like pinatas or more. Just great to get it in this volume.

I used this with a large bottle of elmers glue to make flubberish stuff for my kids to play with. It worked perfectly for me and I still have some left.
