School Spirits,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: School Spirits (Paperback)
School Spirits is a great book for kids. My teacher read this book to my 5th grade class, and it was just amazing. Someone in my class is related to Michael O. Tunnell, so she got him to come to our class and he talked to us about the book. This was a great book. Buy it for your child or you, and/or buy it and read it to your class. Your class will absolutely love this book, and so will everyone else! Definitely recommend this book to all ages!

Reading School Spirits,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: School Spirits (Paperback)
When I began reading School Spirits I expected to read about all these ghosts who had come to haunt an old mysterious school and tried to kill the students who attended the school and that there would be a lot of blood involved. I turned out to be wrong. The book did not have a lot of blood or gore involved, but yet it kept you interested in what was going to happen and what was happening as you read.
The book was about a young boy named Patrick who moved to a new city with his father and meets his first friend who is also his next door neighbor. Patrick's father is the principle of the school that Patrick and his new friend will be attending. So when Patrick's father needs to take a small trip down to the school to pick up papers, Patrick decides to go along for the ride. That is when he first encounters the ghost of young troubled boy. I do not want to give away the end so I will just say that Patrick uses the help of his new friend and a bully to get to the bottem of the mystery. Thanks to Michael Tunnell, the characters in the book are well described and it is easy to tell their personality and the setting is detailed. It almost feels as you are with Patrick trying to assist him in this mystery. It is suspenseful and a lot of fun to read. I think many children should read this book. You will never want to put it down! I know I couldn't!

My book is School Spirt and the book is by Micheal O'Tunnel. The main charecters are Patrick,Narien, and Marien.
The book is about a boy who just moves into town and meets a girl named Narien.Patrick's dad is the new principal of the school. One night Patrick and his dad went to get somthing at the school. While Patrick is waiting for his dad Patrick sees a blue green glow. When the light came closer it was a ghost. Iliked the book because I like creepy books. I would recemend this book to 6th grade boys and girls.I would give this book a 5 star book.

In our lit. group we read "School Spirit". I give this book two stars. I give it two stars beacause it jumped around alot and the author didn't really stay on topic. When the was an interesting part that was spooky it was pretty cool. It starts when a kid named Patrick and his dad moves from a town called White Castle to a town called Waskasoo. Patrick's dad is going to be the principal of the Waskasoo school. When Patrick gets to the new town he makes a new friend named Narien.

I read the book School Spirits it was good.I would recomend it to a twelve year old boy who likes to read scary stories. I gave it a five star rating because IT was a scary thriller I wondered what was going to happen on the next page.So listen up and I'll tell you about it.
My book starts out when Patrick moves to Wakasoo city from New castle whitch he does not like. His mom died in 1953 and its now 1958 its been 5 years. So he sitting on his porch and he meets his neighbor Nairen. she offers to take him out to ice cream at first he says NO then he gets him to go.So they go and get some then they meet Mairon(the bully) and his friend Danny. Then they feel something like a earthquake. They ignore it and go to the library. So later on in the book his dad takes Patrick to the schhol at night.HE left his dad and went up stairs and saw a figure in the door that looked like a boy he got closer and noticed it was a ghost so he ran down the stairs and told his dad and he said you probaly saw your reflection in the glass. So they checked up stairs and saw nothing but before they left Patrick got a swirl of blue around his feet but when his dad looked it was gone. Later on Nairen and Patrick got to the movies and Patrick sees The ghost so he runs out and he starts to think that the ghost is haunting him. They go to Nairen house and play scrabble and someone knocks onthe door so they answer it and when they get back the board said Help Me Patrick.Later on Patricks in the school and he has a daydream that shows where Barneys body was.So Mairen sneaks Patrick into the school and they go to the map cabnnit and moves it and they find him in the secret room.So they tell the police and Nairen tells Patrick Barneys parents are in chicago. So that was the book I read and it was great I hoped you liked it.
