School Years: A Family Keepsake of School Memories

Make sure to read the books dimensions. You can't even store a standard size piece of paper in this book without folding it up, and who wants to fold keepsakes!

Positives: includes one front and back side pouch page for each year, even the high school years.
has space to put:
-teachers,
-first day of school date,
-hight and weight,
-a check off list of 'what I want to be when I grow up',
-favorite subjects,
-activities and hobbies,
-honors and awards,
-friends,
-a place to have their signature for that year.
-a check list for what is inclosed in the pouch (ie: report cards, artwork, honors and awards, class picture, souvenirs of...)
-There is also a wallet sized spot for a picture of your child for each year.

Negatives: The dimentions of the pages are 9 3/8 tall x 6 5/8 wide. Obviously not large enough to put a regular sized sheet of paper into such as a class picture. Who wants to fold a class picture? Or a piece of art work that has something on it that will ruin if you fold it.

I gave this product 2 stars instead of one because it is very sturdy and feels well made, but I am very disappointed to the size. Enough so that I won't buy the product again, and I will tell other people.
I have another product that is similar use for the school memories and it holds full sized sheets of paper. When you have to fold your memories you have less space for them to fit. The pages are a little expandable, but for me, I can't get over the size.

Our children, now in their late 30's, received a book such as this from their elementary school. I thought then and still do that every child should have one to capsulize their school years. It is so easy to record everything and keep their report cards, special papers, etc. all in one place rather than in a box that will never be gone through. I gave our children theirs in 2006 and they were surprised, and happy, that I had done this for them. I highly recommend this book, which we gave to our 5 grandchildren for Christmas this past year.

This product is an excellent project that my kids enjoy to help collect and organize school keepsakes. I found it difficult to find a keepsake book that included grades K-12.

This book is an easy, inexpensive way to memorialize the school years. Perfect for a parent who wants to scrapbook, but doesn't have the time.

This product is good, it has lots of space for information but the pockets are not big enough. In order to put your kids stuff in you have to fold it in half (8-1/2 x 11" still has to be folded in half). So if you are looking to put in art work, report cards etc and don't want to fold it, this book is not for you.

I found the price to be fair for this book.

I have purchased and seen other school keepsake books and this one is of very good quality. The cover and pages are durable and allow for many papers and pictures to be stored. We have had a lot of fun with our three kids (kindegarten, 3rd grade, and 8th grade) entering the personalized information and we look forward to filling it for many years to come!

I bought this book and was highly disappointed. The pages are too small to store anything. The artwork is not cute. I bought a bigger much cuter one for the same price. Skip this one.

This looked like the ideal thing for my childrens keepsakes, but when I received it, I was dissappointed to find that it was way to small, and the little pockets they have in it are small as well, therefore, it made it next to impossible to save their keepsakes.

I would not recommend this if you were looking to store keepsakes. It is fine for just the written mementos, and the odd photo

I am looking at my "School Years" as I type this. I started it the year I went to Kindergarten in 1977. My first born just started Kindergarten this year and I was so excited to see that they still print this memory keeper. I love mine and I will be ordering one for each of my children.
