Chief Inspector Saltfleet saves the day,

This review is from: The Schoolgirl Murder Case (Paperback)
This is a "Chief Inspector Saltfleet" mystery.
As far as I know Wilson wrote only two of these, "The Janus Murder Case" and "The schoolgirl murder case". They both work well, the characters are interesting and believable. The plots opaque and satisfyingly resolved. As with most of Wilson's books (including the novels), this is framed by his desire to understand human consciousness, and his delight in what we already know of the extremes. I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery. I wish Wilson had written a few more. |
