Any kid can Learn Multiplication from this video,

As a child I had a horrible time learning my Multiplication tables. Watching these animated lessons on Saturday morning made a world of difference. As a parent now, I have a child with the same difficulties and this video had him doing the tables in his head in only a few weeks. This is an invaluable resource for any child learning multiplication.

Wow, these songs really help the kids learn their facts. Thesongs are catchy and they review the concepts of multiplication. Iusually introduce a song at a time along with a printed version of the words to the song. [...] If you teach you need this tape!

I remember watching this on television when I was a child and learning my multiplication tables. When I found it was available publically, I immediately purchased it for my son who is now 11. He remembers his the same way I remembered mine -- by singing the songs!!! I would recommend all of the Schoolhouse Rock videos for anyone who has children, because it's never to early to learn. By the way, the only way I can remember the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States is to sing the song from America Rock!

The best way to learn your times tables!!,

“It’s elementary my dear.” That is the phrase that always stuck out in my mind. When I first saw this video, I was nine years old. My teacher showed my class this video just once and...Boom! Multiplication became fun and easy. All we did was sing those catchy songs when we had trouble remembering our times tables. Even today I sing the “Three is a magic number” song when I multiply something by three. My sister now does the same thing. I have a little sister and I wanted her to see the video as well. She is younger than I was when I first saw the video but now we both sing along with Schoolhouse Rocky and the gang. We both benefitted from this video. It not only sings about numbers but this video sings about life, dreams, and animals. It uses the best ways to teach multiplication and each way is unique and special. Like “The Four- Legged Zoo” and “The Good Eleven”. If you have a sister or brother who doesn’t like or just doesn’t get multiplication, then show them this video!

A Schoolhouse Rock Testimonial,

When I was in third grade I never could get my times tables down pat- the sevens and twelves proved especially tricky. So my mom checked out this video from the library, and that changed immediately. I could rattle off my multiplication tables as fast as everybody else after watching this only a few times. Amazing! That same year I got put in advanced math. Coincidence? I think not! All the songs were just so catchy. I loved it when I saw the NIKE commercial playing "Three is the Magic Number", that's one of my favorites. Anyways, parents, this is a great buy for your kids and I doubt that you'll get tired of the tunes.

I am a teacher of 13 years. Many people know that there are 5 specific learning styles and these tapes address many of these styles through innovation and repetition! Catchy songs have seen many of my classes singing to themselves and gaining confidence on tests and test scores! I cannot speak any higher of the series! GET IT!!!

My son has difficulty with flashcard memorization. This video was used by his sisters in the classroom and they loved it so much I purchased it for my son. I am pleased to say he is finally learning multiplication and enjoys watching the video. I highly recommend this product.

I remember watching several of the Schoolhouse Rock videos in my political science class last year and in several other classes, and learned a lot from them. Granted, there is nothing wrong with using a textbook or taking notes, but these videos help to make learning even more fun! I like them a lot and I learned a lot! I'd recommend them to anyone, but especially teachers because even if you're dealing with older students, they will still retain the information, and are quite helpful!
