This review is from: Schooners, Skiffs & Steamships: Stories Along Lake Superior's Water Trails- Paintings and Companion Stories (Hardcover)
All of ths author's books are beautifully illustrated and told in prose in very short, readable and descriptive writing. Great for kids and adults who want to know about or remember earlier times and the history of the north country along Lake Superior in Minnesota and Isle Royale off Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I highly recommend this book and his others for school libraries, individuals and parents who want great books to read to their children and have in a home library.
