Over 50,000 antiques and collectibles listings,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Schroeder's Antiques Price Guide, 2009, 27th Edition (Paperback)
The 27th 2009 edition holds over 50,000 antiques and collectibles listings, with small color photos peppering a strong survey of valuations. An organization by manufacturer makes it easy to look up toys, glassware, and much more, while the latest prices are important keys to assessing collections, flea market values, and more. Both collector's libraries and individuals will find it an important and basic reference and because prices change so readily, its yearly updates are essential.Diane C. Donovan California Bookwatch

Most complete price guide of antiques overall!,
By Marian C Grier (Colorado Springs, CO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Schroeder's Antiques Price Guide, 2009, 27th Edition (Paperback)
The Schroeder's Antiques Price Guide is the most complete over all guide with some photos that we can keep in the RV. There is no way that we can take my complete library of catalogs, price guides, etc. with us on the road and soft back books are much lighter. We do have to watch our weight to enable better gas mileage since today the prices are out of site! We still refer to our other price guides which are in more depth of furniture, glassware, etc. for a more complete listing of each category when at home for more knowledge and of course when pricing items.I have always preferred hard back books because they wear and preserve much better but now that we are in the RV, we have to always think more of weight and convenience. I really like the small paperbacks that I can stick in my purse when out acquiring my purchases. Of course, I'm not embarrassed to go out to the car and check my Schroeder's Antiques Price Guide before checking out! So, for convenience and a thorough price guide for all categories, check this one out! Marian |
