I bought this product Schumacher IP-95C Jump Starter and I am totatly disapointed with it. It has failed everytime to jump start any vehicle with dead battery. Before I purchased this, I was stranded on the Lake with a dead battery and I was introduced to this type of compact jump starter when someone offered to help. They had a Duralast brand and it jump started my V-8 boat with no problem. I was stupid and went with what I thought was a much better brand. No Way!! I am stuck with this piece of crap and absolutely no support from Schumacher. They would not even let me pay the difference to upgrade to higher amp hour unit. Their ridiculous response was that these units are not designed to start dead batteries????????? The only way I can interpret this is this unit will only work if your battery is still turning your starter. What good does this do if your battery is not turning starter!!!!This unit will do nothing if you are getting a click click click from your starter. The biggest joke yet was the fact that this unit would not even start my motorcycle when I tried conecting to my battery. Much smaller battery than car or boat!!!! bought this product as I have a 20year old car that was idle for the winter. I used my other cars to jump start it a few times but this is so much easy and better! once I started using the car it died at rush hour just off the exit ramp in a very busy intersection, on a dark and rainy night. I used the Schumacher IP-95C and was able to get out of that dangerous situation and managed to get the rest of the way home safely. No trying to get another car into an already busy and congested intersection, just raise the hood and connect this product and that was it. it. The car started immediately and I quickly got out a very dangerous situation. I've also used it on my lawn tractor this spring. excellent product, I only wish it had another foot on each battery connector. it has an air compressor as well and I've used it to re-inflate car tire and spare without issue and very quickly.

So far so good. A lot lighter than my old one, which was working fine except my son needed it more than me.

I've used the pump to re-inflate my exercise ball, wheelbarrow tire and the tire on my portable generator.

I've jumped the car battery twice and I love the fact that an extension cord plugs right in with no hunting for the right wall charger to use. I'll bet there are 6 different ones in the garage, for weed whackers etc. I also love the fact that it is so light. The old one was tough for me to lift out of the car with my bad back. Still haven't had the need to use the CSB port. But I'm sure I'll need to charge my cell phone one of these day's out in the woods fishing.

So far I would highly recommend it to anyone, with the exception of my son!.

This charger is the second one we have owned. We shopped around and read reviews and found this one to be the best bargain. When we received it, we charged it and used it to pump up a tire and start the engine of our riding mower. It performed great. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs a top quality charger.

I have owned for 5 months , had used it couple of times. Jump starting chrysler sebring was lightning fast. Air compressor is bit noisy but works well . I made sure I don't leave air compressor running for more than 3-4 minutes at a stretch.

If you abide by the credo "Prepare for the worse, hope for the best" then this is the perfect item for your car! It jumps cars without the need for someone else's car, it can air your tires up and it has a cigarette 12 volt dc plug so you can charge your electronics (such as cellphone) off of it as well as with the nifty USB plug!

At this low price with these features you cannot find a better deal at your local hardware, car parts store nor at your local wal-mart.

I purchased this air compressor/jump starter for my father as a birthday gift and he loves it! Its small and portable but still has lots of power! This product is great for emergency situations! It of course has the jump starter, air compressor (with various attachments in a convenient little bag that's hooked to the air compressor so they wont get lost), and a usb which i though was great we hooked up the gps and cell phone to it and they charged right up! Perfect for emergencies, camping, etc! The air compressor/jump starter itself can also be charged through the usb to a cigarette lighter in the car which is very convenient! Cheaper on amazon than everywhere else!

I was thrilled to receive this charger/compressor as I actually needed one. From the start it never took a charge! I found out it was no good right on the day my return period ended. VERY DISAPPOINTING - I will never purchase another product from the Schumacher company.

I like this product very much as it seems to be good quality. I really like the fact that you can leave it plugged in to maintain the charge and it will not overcharge.

I have had this unit for a year, and it has performed very well within the realistic limitations that I expected. Emphasis on "expected". This WILL NOT jump start a vehicle with a battery with an internal short, corroded or poor connections, or in sub-zero weather. It WILL start a vehicle with a battery that been discharged to a very low level but is in otherwise functional condition. For anything else, call AAA. It will inflate tires that have low pressure. Slowly, like all the other 12V inflators out there. It will not inflate tires that are leaking faster than this unit can pump air. The advantage of this combined battery booster/inflator is that it doesn't have to be plugged in to a 12v vehicle outlet. This feature has been very useful for inflating my travel trailer tires after it has been sitting all winter. I am buying a second one for my other vehicle.
