I listen to this disc frequently, constantly. The pianism is great. The singing is exquisite, intense, subtle, ravishing. One thing I really love about this disc is how Matthias Goerne breathes. It's more pronounced than many singers, but it's so soothing, seductive. The quite moments on this disc are so amazing, some of the most beautiful I know. The disc length isn't much more than 50 minutes, but the amount of pleasure received from this astounding music making is worth many times the price.
