I can't recommend this tube for everyday use. I've been racing and training on them, which my LBS prefers. For racing, especially smooth-road criterium racing, they are nice and light, and the 80mm valve option is ideal for deep-dish wheels.

However, training and everyday riding is a different matter - being light and thin, they are not at all robust and I've experienced far too many flats with them on normal roads. Fortunately there are alternatives, and heavier tubes are fine for training.

I use this tube in my 700X23 tires, and it works great. The extra size gives it a little more "puncture resistance", yet I inflate the tires to 130 psi.

I'm a recreational road rider in VA, and I've ridden 12 months so far with no flats, using Continental 4000s tires. I've gone about 1500 miles, and the back tire is getting pretty well worn now. I like the stem on these tubes as well, and this is now my tube of choice. I'll install new Conti Force/Attack combo tires soon, with two more of these tubes new...

I bought this in combination with some Continental 4000S, these fits great, no issues so far. I am a flat magnet, so far it has done its job well from preventing me get flats.
