Der Schwarm by Frank Schätzing on 10 CDs is an audio play rather than an audio book. The story is excellent and performed wonderfully in this audio format. Once you start listening, you have a hard time stopping! The music and supporting audio effects are appropriate and enhance the reading/listening experience. I chose this format while recovering from an injury during which I could not read and I am completely thrilled. I am now trying to find Frank Schätzing's other publications on Audio CD as well. Unfortunately, not many others seem to exist.
This recording is an excellent choice for somebody with a visual impairment and/or for people who want to listen to a thrilling story while communiting or traveling. I highly recommend this product, the author and this particular story! |
