Schwinn put it's name on this bike and it lives up to the name. The first thing I found was the bike assembles with ease. All the tools required to put it together are included with the bike. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and total assembly time was about 10 minutes. All the features on the bike work nicely. I previously had a more expensive German made excercise bike that had similar features but it was a very expensive bike. With that bike you had to place a clip, attached by a wire to the bike, to obtain heartrate info. This Schwinn bike does the same thing with handy grip readers in the handlebars that provides an accurate readout. It has some built in speakers for use with your MP3 player and the sound quality is good. There is also a place to securely set your MP3 player during your workout. The platform is stable, even for the heavier weights like myself. The bike can be eaisly moved on the front rollers and the seat is easily adjusted to accomodate a multitude of heights (I'm 6' 1" and my wife is 4' 10"). This is a nice excercise bike for family use.

It took me just under an hour to assemble my Schwinn A10, but it was pretty easy to do, even by myself. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. And this device is well worth the effort. Its a nice looking exercise bike, with a sturdy build and lots of features! With in- handle heart-rate monitoring, a comfortable adjustable height seat, and an excellent electronic console with a broad range of presets and as much flexibility as you need, its a great addition to any home gym.

As a long time Schwinn stationary bike user I finally wore out my current bike with 9026 miles on the odometer so it was time to buy a new one. I bought another Schwinn of coarse because of my previous experience and was surprised how cheaply made this bike really it. First I;m 6' 1" and weight 220 lbs, this bike is rated to 275lbs. Maybe, if all you wanted to do is sit on it. As far as the reviews comparing it to bikes found in gyms, don't believe it for one minute!!! The reviews as to how bad the seat is are completely true, you couldn't design a worst non adjustable seat. I thought the seat reviews were over the top but that wasn't the case, it's basicly a hard piece of plastic with a vinyl cover, no padding. As far as resistance there is 8 levels I ride exclusively on level 8 as anything less than this is like riding down hill. Basicly this bike is designed for someone who is completely out of shape, thus the low resistance choices and the plastic seat which will limit your riding to under 10 minutes unless you just like pain. Honestly, if you are even thinking of buying this bike find it locally and try it first!! I'd recommend you look elsewhere , there are just to many other choices in the price break point.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I decided to get this upright bike in hopes of finding an alternative to running in the park. I have suddenly become pretty prone to constant shin splints and knee issues in the past few months and decided that something a little less high impact would benefit my exercise routine. This bike has worked out perfectly to alleviate those issues. I was never a big bike person but liked the idea of trying something new out that I could use in the comfort of my living room while watching tv. This is perfect!

It was pretty easy to put together. It took me about a half an hour with the help of a friend. It feels sturdy and the quality seems decent for the price. The control panel is awesome and I love the various resistance levels this offers as well as the heart rate monitor and calorie counter. That is super handy!

Overall, really like this bike and recommend it to anyone out there looking for something to help them get in a less stressful workout that is easier on the knees and legs. Very low impact. The compact design is easy to fit in even a smaller living area. My only complaint (Reason for one star off) would be the saddle (seat) being a little too hard on my rear-end. It kind of hurt a little too much at first but I wound up adjusting to it. Really impressed with this inexpensive bike!

The good: The different courses you can set on the bike are nice with great changes in difficulty throughout the ride to keep it challenging. This is a great entry level exercise bike.

The bad: The seat on the bike is very uncomfortable. I bought padded bike shorts to help with this and now it is bearable. The heart rate monitor on the bike does not work. It shows a "P" while you are riding and holding the bars, then it is always an average heart rate of zero when you finish your ride.

I researched a little bit before buying A10 2013. This one is exactly what I needed. I am 6'2" and this bike can serve even 6'5" people easily and the seat goes down to accommodate 5' or even less. Very quiet and very stabile. I use the internal speakers with my Ipad and my Iphone. It looks and feels like a professional gymnasium equipment.

With winter coming, we won't be outside as much and this bike would be perfect to balance watching tv and getting a little exercise.

First thoughts were that for the money, it wasn't going to be very good. I was wrong. It came in a big, heavy box and it had to be assembled. That was easy enough to do and took about 30 minutes. We adjust the seat height easy between us and the overall build is more than I expected. The displays are good, but I never believe the calorie counter on this or any other machine. I just go by resistance and time. Anyway, it's a nicely built bike, the settings, displays , heart monitor etc are all nice touches on such an inexpensive bike.

The bottom line is this is a nice simple exercise bike that give a lot of value. It is not something you'll find in your local gym, but it does the job well and you can't beat the price.
