I got one for myself, and one for my son. Tried it on the road, harder than heck. So we took it to a skating rink. I worked my butt off, and could hardly keep up with anyone. Then we checked the wheels out. Mine had 2 that were very sticky - one on each skates. My son's pair had wheels that worked all "fine" .... Until we compared to a REAL inline. A slightly higher priced pair glide four times as far, and did not have any sticky wheel. So they might tell you to use it "so the grease will wear thin". Don't believe it. The problem is the spacer device for the bearing, it is too narrow, causing the wheel to stick. When that is not an issue, the bearing quality is too low, causing you to work harder. Spend an extra (...) - and you will be much happier. I bought a pair of skates that cost twice as much - and WOW the difference it made. Both on the road and on wood - effortless gliding. The way inline skate should be. Stay away from this model. The price might look attractive, unless you really want to burn calorie and not move more than a few feet.

The other reviewers are absolutely right. I bought a men's pair about a year ago from Target. They are awkward to fasten, and my feet never feel secure in the boot. I can feel the rail beneath my foot. Don't buy these.
