We were wondering if we should get a tricycle or a bicycle for our 2 year old boy initially and chanced upon this bike on amazon. It is an excellent purchase for us.

1) The bike is sturdy and does not topple easily.
2) The push handle allows parents to steer the bike if needed. This is really a "plus plus" point for parent with a young kid.
3) The height of the seat can be adjusted and training wheels and the push handle can be removed once the child can cycle on his own.

Our boy is in the 50th percentile in terms of height and he can easily put his legs on the pedals. We need to push him a little with the handle bar but he has started to pedal as soon as his second attempt on his bike. Right now, he tries to stand on the pedals occasionally imitating grown ups. With a helmet and proper guidance, it is a safe and excellent bike for a child to pick up proper cycling skills.

Overall, we are please with the bike. It is easy to assemble and was shipped to us on Thanksgiving Day. The price is slightly higher than other bikes or trikes but it is likely to last till our boy is 4 - 5 years old. It is worthwhile and we would definitely recommend it to other families.

I just got this bike for my son 4th birthday. It's a functional bike since you can remove the training wheels and the push handle, and adjust the seat height. So far,I'm happy with this bike. However, the water bottle stinks with plastic. It's better to throw out that cup and use a better quality cup, you don't want your child to drink the chemical coming from that cheap thing. Happy purchase and a great deal with free shipping.

This bike is great! Got it for my son's 4th birthday and he loves riding it. He is very tall, about 45 inches and this bike fits him great. I
highly recommend this. My son has autism and has a hard time steering and pedaling at the same time so the parent push/steer handle is perfect!!

ok so it took me a little while to decide on writing this review.
Let me tell you this Bike is awesome for kids. My kid is like 22 Months old and a bit taller than average. I took a little bit of time to decide on this bike. This product is really good. You can see excitment on your kids face when they ride it.

Its ideal for Age group of 2/4 years. A 2 year kid will barely be able to ride it. But should be good if you want your kid to grow with it.The most helpful stuff in this bike is the Drive handle .

Drive handle really helps you in teaching your kid intially to ride the bike , its also makes its pretty easy for you to control the bike . I have another bike for my kid but that really leads to a lot of backpain if you are teaching your kid to drive it for longer period of time. With this one you are really very comfortable when you are driving it with handle.

Of course its a bit costly then others in the same class but Drive Handle is what makes it stand out. To cut Long story short "GO FOR IT :-) "

Instruction booklet didn't match the bike, making assembly difficult. Front fender will not tighten all the way. Pedals slip off. Bike seat cannot be tightened down. Looks great but kind of a PITA when little inconsistencies pile up.

This bike has been so much fun for our little boy(3 yrs old) since he recieved it for Christmas. He loves riding it. Its just the right size, but he has plenty of room to grow with the seat & handle bar adjustments. We love that it has the handle so we can push and steer the bike if he gets tired. Although if he fights the steering (say by insisting he rides in the grass but instead we keep him on the sidewalk)we do have to straighten the handle bars when we get home. The only negative is that the handle sticking up in back makes it difficult for him to swing his leg over to get on or off. But once he's riding well on his own we'll be able to remove the bar & it won't be an issue.

after 6 days of use, the steering wires broke and tangled all over the front wheel. my son is now unable to turn the handle, and i can't help at all since the handle is pretty much useless for steering. called amazon and they gladly sent me a replacement, although i have very little hope that the next one will hold up for more than a month, i am willing to take the risk. my almost 3 year old boy loves it and is easy for him to pedal. it is a great looking bicycle, i just wish it had been built with better materials.
