I had to return this item.

We did not need it again for a month or two, but when we tried to use it a second time, it was as if the pump had deflated of all air.

This pump is a good deal, you don't really need anything more.

This pump worked long enough to air up two bicycle tires and then the handle came out of the pump and no longer worked. I tried taking apart the plastic components to fix with no luck. I would not recommend this product for anything other than wasting your time.

This model replaced a higher-end Schwinn model I had been trying to use (the other had a swiveling nozzle with a built-in needle that worked Swiss-army-knife style, or rather didn't work). This works perfectly; it clamps on securely and is easy to pump and was inexpensive. My only wish would be to have a pressure gauge. Sometimes simpler really is better.

Since this is just a pump, I guess there is not much to say except that it works well. I use it to pump air into my bike tires, which have been getting flat a lot lately. It works perfectly fine.

Nothing bad to say about it. It doesn't tell you how much air is in what ever you are pumping in, so it may not be perfect for basketballs and such. But I suspect most people can just get the feel of their tires or balls and pump accordingly. For me, it's simple and good enough for my needs.

I should have followed the negative reviews: the handle part broke up after the first use and the pump is now useless. Don't buy!

I have two big complaints about this pump. The only decent thing about it, is that it is cheap, but still not worth the money.

1)I could not get it to pump up my presta valve. This pump is either too annoying to figure out or it just does not work with presta valves. Either way, if you have presta valves on your tubes (the long really skinny ones) just skip this product right here and now.

2)NO PRESSURE GAUGE! The pump has gauge built in to tell you what pressure your tires are at. To figure that one out, you would have to disconnect the hose from the tire valve, check the pressure manually, and then reattach the hose and keep pumping and repeating this process until you are close enough. If you are using this for a bike, please please please do not just eye ball your tire pressure, that is a bit tough to do and not accurate. For a bicycle tire you want a good constant tire pressure always.

I ended up spending half the cost of this pump just to ship it back and return it the day it arrived. I tried it out, hated it and sent it back. If I had seen a review for it like this one before I bought it, I would have not bought it!

This pump is simple and lightweight. It works exactly how its supposed to for Schrader valves and I haven't had any problems with it after 3 years of use. I was originally tempted to buy a pump with a built in pressure gauge but I read too many reviews of pumps where the gauge broke. So after buying this pump I bought this nice air gauge (the EZ - Air Tire Gauge by G.H. Meiser) and it's all still cheaper than a pump with a built in gauge. On this pump the lever/lock for the tire stem works the opposite of what I'm used to but it also locks on better. I would buy this again for any bike that has Schrader valves especially at this price. However, it's not for Presta valves. It comes with a cheap plastic adapter that doesn't work.

This Schwinn Air Driver 1000 arrived unusable, so I can't comment on it's performance. I can say that the hose end fitting is made of plastic. It was received broken, snapped off at the pump base. Not a sturdy design. Will try again but not this one.

Because of my budget, I needed to get a low cost floor pump to pump up the tires on my Women's Schwinn Ranger Mountain Bike - 26". I bought this pump sight unseen expecting it to either be flimsy or fall apart after a few months. However, after almost a year of use I can safely say that this was a good purchase. It's still holding up well and has done a good job of inflating my tires without a hitch. I recommend it highly if you need a no frills, basic pump and don't mind not having a gauge.
