The bike came packaged well. It is a great bike! Suspension is good and it rides well. It did need tuned, but if you are familiar with bikes then I'm sure you could manage it. Fast shipping.

It was a very good surprise. I was worried with components quality, so far we have been riding it in all kinds of roads and trails without any issues.

My recommendation to any bike novice is to take the unopened container directly to a professional bicycle shop. It will save you a ton of frustration. For an additional $40; I was able to walk away with a beautiful and comfortable piece of equipment that was both securely assembled and tuned to my liking. At 6'1" 200 lbs {53 years old}I've had a blast cruising the Shore Towns of South Jersey. {Compliments galore regarding its suspension and style} Another consideration may be investing in a comfort seat unless of course you plan on going completely squirrels off-road. Great Value for those who can forgo an exotic name and its accompanying price tag.

love this bike... easy to assemble... great construction, style and durable (fell a few times with it :( )... and rides really good...

Very comfortable mountain bike, but would be better with disk brakes. Have put about 2,000 miles on this bike, mostly off-road, and it has held up well, except for the pedals, which have screws that keep coming loose. Finally just replaced the pedals.

I am new to biking and i had to watch a lot of videos and still could not put this bike together. The instruction manual is for generic schwinn bikes and that was no help. there are two documents with very detailed mechanical diagrams which gave me a headache because it is very tough to follow what they are talking about. since there is only one picture of this product, it is very difficult to know what the finished product should look like. the brakes tended to be on the inside of the handlebars rather than the outside. i guess i will take it to a bike shop after a very frustrating effort at assembling it. if you decide to buy this bike, be prepared to spend more on getting it ready at a bike shop if you don't know about bikes.

I finally figured out that the brake levers are on the outside and I had to use a screwdriver to loosen them and twist them around. man if they had instructions for these practical matters, it would have been way easier to put together. also the right pedal did not go into the crank arm and my friend had to use pliers to squeeze them in and that damaged the paint a bit. i was about to return the bike to get the same new one but decided not to waste carbon since amazon gave me a small discount for my troubles. i guess they did not want me to return it and thought it would be better to save shipping money (for my return as well as sending a new one). but i am still happy with amazon for this. this is the second time amazon has exceeded my expectations (the first time being when they shipped a kindle to me at a preferred date even when they said it would take much longer) also schwinn was ready to send me a new crank arm and maybe the pedal which got a bit scratched as well as it fell off while riding coz it did not go in properly. i am still undecided if i need those anymore since my friend squeezed it in. guess i will observe it for a few more days.

inspite of having these complaints, i am deciding to keep the bike because i like the feel of it. it is good to look at and ride on and i really like to ride it. it is very light as well in my opinion and i can carry it with ease.
