Easy to assemble and it is built very well.
Casey
It has what is called a parent handle, your child can ride on the bike and you can steer and push it from behind.
Cherie Kanz
I think it will be good for kids who are above 3 years.

I was hoping for a little better fit and finish from a schwinn product, but this bike is cheaply made and it shows.

I bought the bike specifically because I like the handle. And the fact that it comes with training wheels instead of that being an extra purchase. So far the bike is working, it does what it should, my girl likes it. I'm trying not to be negative since it is accomplishing the task that I bought it for... but I just can't get over how things are not as I'd expect. I would gladly pay an extra twenty bucks for a better product. Here are some gripes:

-The paint on the handlebar does not match the body of the bike. The paint on the adult handle is 2 different colors of pink (the handle is in 2 sections).
-The instructions to build the bike were a joke. The manual looks like it comes with every single Schwinn bike... it has instructions for BMX bikes and mountain bikes and everything. BUT it does not include instructions specifically for this bike. I think I got everything right... but I can't be sure, can I? There really aren't instructions included.
-The training wheels are hard plastic. I would have preferred rubber (even if not pneumatic)
-The adult handle is not in line with the front wheel. Meaning - when I'm pushing, the handle is cocked a bit to the side.
-The streamers are a joke. They will fall off the first time my daughter pulls on them.
-There is a badge glued on the front of the bike that says "Schwinn Quality" and the joke is - that badge was coming loose as I pulled the bike from the packaging. I'm sure it will fall off soon.
-It would be really nice to be able to "opt out" of the brakes while teaching my kid how to ride. She pushes backwards on the pedals because she thinks it's fun to stop. Every. Five.

Bought this bike for my 3 year old daughter and it's great! The handle on the back actually turns the bike, which I didn't read anywhere on the description when I purchased it. Also, my husband and I are tall, so we installed the handle backwards so we don't have to hunch over, it's perfect. Good quality, used it 3x so far and happy with the purchase.

This bike has been amazing! We used it kind of as a stroller when my daughter was younger and now she's 4 and she rides it every single day! Very sturdy and has stood the test of time. Would highly recommend.

The back handle was excellent. This is why online shopping is great. We see the reviews and much more details before buying. We could not find this excellent type bike in stores.

After shopping around for bikes and highly considering a balance bike, we realized that our very tall 3 year old was going to outgrow the balance bike within a few months. I couldn't spend that money to have them outgrow it so we decided to get this bike. Our daughter loved that it was pink and we loved that it was steerable. Kiddo had never ridden a bike before so we knew that it was going to take more than a weekend to get her accustomed to steering. Frankly, she's gotten better at steering but I like having it on there to stop her especially if we're riding through the neighborhood and stopping at the streets.
Cons: although it was easy to put together, we have to carry a little wrench to tighten the wheels. On several occasions the wheels have fallen off. Also the plastic thing that covers the chain has a crack in it. So I was a bit disappointed in the cheapness of theparts.
Overall I'm happy with the purchase and so is my girl.

This cute little bike was a snap to assemble, and my daughter loves it. The steering handle is what drew me to it, and it works like a charm (until she gets away from me)! My daughter is 4 and very tall for her age, so unfortunately she won't get much out of this bike. I already have the seat as high as it can go, and I'm sure it won't be long before I'm wishing I could raise it. At least we'll get some training on it in before she moves up to her brother's bike and then we'll donate/hand down this one. I wouldn't buy for anyone over 3 or else like us, you won't get enough time out of it.

Box looked like it was in world war three, however, it was packed well and there was no damage to the bike. Easy to assemble and it is built very well. Love the parent steering handle that can be removed easily. Granddaughter loves the bike.
