The PR-150 is GREAT!!,
By melissa padilla "natalie and savannah's mom" (riverbank, california, usa) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) Other reasons I am happy with this purchase: -Easily converts to double stroller (includes wheel- no need to purchase seperate kit) -Cool updated look- a little newer than most trailers -Comes with zip-off weather protector -Storage area behind kid's seat -Large storage pouch on the back -Large storage and cupholder thing on handle (when used as stroller) -Very easy to set up -Very easy to convert from trailer to stroller and bar that hooks to bike folds under nicely. I would definitley reccommend this product. It's worth the extra money and the quality surpasses the Target one I originally bought. I also looked into Burley, Ive heard good things about them, but decided on this because it was about a hundred bucks cheaper and came with conversion kit.

Stylish and Easy to Use,
This review is from: Schwinn Joyrider Bicycle Trailer (Red/Gray) (Sports)
I bought this one because I admit I liked how it looked. I looked at some in stores and this is the only one that had padded seats. I am not in shape right now and bought this so I could get in shape. Most of the reviews complain about the weight. Honestly I didn't even notice it behind me (I rode for 40 minutes with no problems.) It turns extremely easy, both directions.
I love that it comes with a stroller wheel and that the tow arm tucks neatly away in stroller form. (I always thought it looked tacky on other trailers when you could clearly see it was a trailer turned stroller with the tow arm in front and tiny wheel to convert to stroller.) It is very easy to convert back and forth. I noticed that others say it is too big to fit through a door. Yes it doesn't fit with it open but if you fold it (much easier than removing the wheels as other reviews have said) then it easily fits through. I just fold it, carry it out to my bike and attach it. That is another nice thing it folds so it can be put away easily. Both my girls love it. The only problem we have is when we stop and they want to keep going.

Nice Ride for Kids,

My husband and I read the reviews on this bike trailer/stroller and decided to give it a try.
When I got it in the mail it was VERY easy to set up; I think I only had to put the wheels in and open it up. My son instantly climbed in and sat there as happy as could be. It is too wide to fit in regular sized doors. The wheels are easy to pop off (push of one button), and if you take one wheel off you can fit through any door. The swivel wheel works great, however it does rattle a little when trying to jog with it, so I recommend also buying the jogging wheel attachment separately if you plan to use this as a jogging stroller. The reclining seat is not much of a recline. It is leaned back a little but your child is still sitting up fairly straight. It is NOT a 5 point harness, which would have been a little nicer. The one major complaint that I have about this thing is that I cannot fold it down. It is supposed to be an "easy one hand shut" and I cannot get it shut for the life of me. I don't have enough hand strength to squeeze the button down as far as it needs to go to get it shut. I have tried using my thumb, palm even both palms when squeezing the button and I can't get it shut. My husband has no issues, but I can't do it which is very disappointing because now I can't bring this anyplace by myself. The cup holder does come off easily so use caution when using this. It is attached with just a hook so if you go over any bump it might fly off. There is not much room for storage. The seat is padded for the children which is a nice feature.

Dangerous Tow Bar!!!,
By
This review is from: Schwinn Joyrider Bicycle Trailer (Red/Gray) (Sports)
I was so excited to get this trailer, it had everything I was looking for. All the design features and included extras seemed way too good to be true for the price. I researched like crazy before choosing the Joyrider, and couldn't wait to get ours. It came at the end of March 2010 and we used it every day for 2 straight weeks. I have 2 year old twins who very quickly fell in love with our bike rides together. Everything was going along great until a few days ago when our tow bar BROKE. It didn't just break, it actually fell off of the trailer because of faulty hardware that was used to assemble it! Please be careful, this was not just a fluke accident, the nut and bolt that were used to attach my tow bar to my trailer were not able to stay joined because the bolt was too short. The reason they used such a short bolt was to accomodate the swivel feature of the tow bar. Who cares about swiveling and stowing a tow bar that can fall right off???
I am so thankful that this happened while I was in my driveway and NOT during a commute with my children. Please take this into consideration. I did a full review with pictures and full details here..... [...] I really wish that I would have come across a reveiw like this when I was doing all my research, most of the reviews address very minor concerns in comparison to actual tow bar DEFECTS.

Great bike trailer and stroller,
This review is from: Schwinn Joyrider Bicycle Trailer (Red/Gray) (Sports)
We have used this trailer for 7 months now and we love it! It rides smoothly, turns easily and is comfortable for the kids. It is a big trailer/stroller, but you don't notice that when pulling or pushing it as a stroller. We have pulled our kids MANY miles and it is a nice trailer. When pushing the kids in the stroller you have to hold it back sometimes because it just glides along without much effort. This stroller would be big to take inside somewhere. For an outdoor stroller/trailer though it is great!
Positives: -It has "hard" seats (not the hammock/sling seat). -You can take the seat pads out to wash them. -Large wheels make it glide (especially when using it as a stroller). -Opens and closes easily. -Nice storage space in the back. -Has drink holders (just be careful, they can fall off easily). -Nice swivel wheel for using as a stroller (I have used it to run, but the wheel wobbles a lot. I saw another review that said you can buy a jogging wheel for it on the Schwinn website). -Easy to take all the wheels off (to fix or to fit through a door). -It has 3 positions for kids to sit in (if you have just one kid they can sit in the middle). -The seat reclines. It doesn't recline very much though (your kids are still sitting up most of the way). I keep it in the recline position all the time so they aren't sitting up at a 90 degree angle. -It has a mesh cover to keep rocks from hitting them (though mud still gets in!). -It has a plastic cover for when it rains. -There is a mesh window at the back that helps air flow through (I keep mine open all the time). -Adjustable handle. I am 6' and my husband is 6'2". This stroller is VERY comfortable to push if you are tall. My kids can also push it though because they just move the bar down. Negatives: -The seat seatbelt/straps are too tight to fit on my 3 year old (they are not long enough). I really only have that one complaint (the straps). My husband and I have both really liked this trailer/stroller. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I found a great video review on youtube as well that showed how to set it up, use the swivel bar etc. We love this trailer! Hope this helps!

Great but a parachute,
By
This review is from: Schwinn Joyrider Bicycle Trailer (Red/Gray) (Sports)
The bearings are great, this pulls easy at low low speeds, and the quality is very decent.
We originally picked this because it folded flat with east. Burley seemed like kind of a pain to shrink and stow. The bad side is unlike the burley, there is no mesh behind the head. It is a gigantic parachute, and much taller than the burley, intech(instep, whatever); so at 15mph or so, this is really really tiring. Yes, we all bike to work out, but it would be nice to make from one town to the next without giving up and throwing in the towel 1 mile out. Plus biking into a head wind.. forget it. Yes, its cheaper than burley, and great quality, but they need better ventilation. Perhaps it wouldnt be so bad with the plastic up, but my son loathed how it looked and felt trapped when we put it up. The mesh holes are large as well, so fine sand sprays him. I have seen some with a splash guard in the middle lower section, this would be a very good idea. If you biked 5-8 mph, roads, etc, not bad at all. However if youre up in the 20s on your gears, not so great :)

Impossible to get new tires!,
I love this trailer but the tires are garbage that can't handle a year of light use. Making matters worse, for some reason Schwinn decided to use a weird proprietary tire type and they are impossible to find replacements for. So what they did is make a great trailer that becomes useless as soon as the tires wear out, and they wear out very quickly.

Not just a 5-star complacent review,

As many other people here, we have been thinking about buying a trailer for some time and were looking at various. In the end, after much hesitation and asking the kids by showing pictures, we ended up buying the Joyrider. I must admit I was feeling very excited and a bit uneasy at the same time, because a few well pointed facts in the bad reviews left me this gut feeling...
We have been using it daily for several weeks now, and there are some of those bad points I want to address to reassure worried parents : . The storage space is not so small, as long as you don't store bulky things . The weight... of course it adds to the overall weight but it is really not that bad unless you are way out of shape. . The front wheel, we did not have the rattling problem yet, I would expect it to rattle if I started running around, but this is not a jogger. Most important things about safety, I read somewhere that this particular trailer is very dangerous if the bicycle falls. This is not true, as any recent trailer (including dead cheap ones), the tow bar has a kind of mobile joint that handles this perfectly. Final point : the belts. I read people complaining about the belts. It sounds like they were being listened to : the Joyrider we received (beginning of June) does have two 5-point harnesses. No short straps or transverse belt for two. In the end we are really happy about it, and glad we waited until now to have an even better product. The kids don't feel claustrophobic as they would in a different design, and it is even possible to use it as a stroller until you get to the plane at the airport (provided you remove the wheels when packing at the boarding gate). Feel free to comment if you want to ask something.

I was excited about using this as a bike trailer and stroller and after some light use on the road as a stroller only, the front wheel started rattling and it is now unusable. Now I have to find out how to get this thing repaired. I used it once on the bike for about 30 minutes and about a dozen times on the road near my home and then the wheel went bad.
