I really like this bike. My friends have compared it to riding an arm chair it's so comfortable. Here is everything that is wrong or has gone wrong with it:

-two of the bolts to attach the seat were missing. $5 to replace
-a tube went flat immediately. $5 to replace
-the rear derailleur up and broke. $35 to replace

Despite this, it was still worth the money and when the bike is working, I like it a lot. A lot of strangers admire it.

If you are looking for a great cruiser bike for the beach or just neighborhood riding, this is a great choice. However, buying this bike over the internet is very risky. The packaging of this product is so poor that I recently returned two damaged in shipping. It is not the carrier used, it is the packing of the bike by the manufacturer. One bike came by UPS and one came by FedEx. My suggestion is to buy the bike assembled from a good retailer. Dick's sporting goods carries this same model. Do not have it shipped; have it delivered to the store.

This bicycle seems to be very well made with stainless rims and generally solid construction. It arrived in a big box with the front wheel and fender not attached. Took awhile to get them attached and the brakes adjusted. The derailer shifter didn't engage the high gears so I had to take it to a bike shope and have them adjust it. After only about 5 trips back and forth to work, about 5 miles each way, this morning the chain jumpped off the small 7th high gear and I had to stop, get it back on the sprocket and peddal to work with out gear seven. Will take it back to the bike shop tomorrow and I hope maybe it was just a bad adjustment. I've been building up muscle and stamana in only these few trips which are all up hill on the way home in the evening and it feels great, best investment I have made in years and I'm loving it!
I like the fact that it is comfortable and has fenders as well as a very handy rear rack. I am going to buy a new, seat though, a Schwinn pillow top. I also bought a Schwinn compact pump and and bag for the rear rack as well as a handy cup holder for the morning java on the way to work. Fun-fun-fun and healthy.
On the negative side, the manual leaves a lot to be desired, it doesn't explain things well at all, am going to next look for a good Schwinn bicycle repair, upkeep manual.
Update Oct 13 2010: I got the air pump, but found this model has no welded on tangs to attach it to, so I used some of those plastic pull ties and that seems to hold it securly to the vertical seat frame post. Got the Schwinn gel seat and am still not convinced it's that big an improvement over the stock one.
Big Negative: I kept having shifting problems and finally took it to another bike repair and he identified the problem..

i'm an old fat guy, and i have issues with my feet that prevent pretty much any 'impact' exersize, so my choices are very limited.
this bike offered exactly what i needed. 7 speeds, but not the overkill that 18+ would be. the gears shift smoothly, the brakes stop evenly, the big coushiony seat is comfortable on my big coushiony bottom. the handlebars are at a comfortable position. it peddles smoothly. there was some minor assembly (front wheel, seat, handlebars, pedals, front fender) and some tweaking after assembly, of course.
the front fender was dented a little during shipping, but very minor - i was able to pop the dents back out with the rubber coated handle of my hammer. no worries.
i have already reccomended this bike to several people, and will continue to do so. i'd plan to buy anopther for my wife eventually..
this was a great buy.

I initially thought I was graced with a perfectly sound shipment of a bike, but like others I ran into some issues with this bike. First of all, the front wheel was out of true, out of box, which means it wobbles when rotating. This meant that the rim would rub against the brake pad in different locations making brake adjustment such that the pads don't run into the rim impossible. Nineteen dollars later I had a perfect wheel on a nearly perfect bike. I then had an issue with the front brake. One of the tension springs are broken and the left pad doesn't move away from the rim when the brake is disengaged. After tedious adjustments, I found an adjustment that will have to do. The construction is sound, solid, some parts nearing the cheap side like the pedals and shifter, but this bike is from China. You might notice the interesting inlay on the back rack, it's actually just a cheap sticker that might even be hanging over the edge like mine. Can you get a better cruiser for the money? Perhaps, but this bike is still pretty sweet looking in the end!

This bike is great for the price. The assembly was easy and all the parts were there. For the price I ould say this is a great value.
Is the shifter on the cheap side? Yes
Is the frame solid? Yes
Is there a good range of adjustment? Yes
For the price there is nothing that comes close to it. Considering that with Amazon free shipping and all the features it is a no brainer. What not spend $40.00 more for a bike with gears than one without. Wide comfortable seat and I can ride upright (important to me because of a bad back.)The shifter is the weakest point (touchy to get to the right gear) but easy after a little use. Is it as good as a $900 bike? No. But it's far better quality than anything in it's price range.
