I seem to be missing the parts necessary to attach the front wheel.

This is a great hybrid bike. It's light and fast like a good road bike, and has great tires and gears for rougher terrain. It is a very dark green( the photo makes it look black). It was very easy to assemble, though Schwinn left out the quick release mech for the front tire. They did send it to me quickly though, once I called them up.
I had been riding mountain bikes all my life, so this hybrid was a change for me, and I 'm glad to say that I prefer the hybrid, it's much better for getting around in city areas. There are shocks in the fork and seat that make for a very comfortable ride. The slim body and tires make fast speeds possible without much effort. The rear rack is great for carrying books and bags, if you attach a sack or net. The handle grips are very comfortable, smooth with just enough grip, not too textured like some other bikes.

I use it to commute to work and on bike trails near a local river, where the nicely gripped tires come in handy.

Some useful additions I purchased were a Schwinn thrasher helmet; does the job and looks good for only $25, a bell xenon light set; very bright and gives a lot of light for night time riding, a Schwinn frame pump; great for inflating tires on the go and attaches to the frame, and an adjustable bell water cage; it can hold any size beverage.

I would definitely recommend this bike.

I plan to take some photos and upload them soon as there is only one picture so far.

This bike is amazing for the money. The box did come a little damaged but overall in great shape. there were a couple of scratches on the handle bar tree but nothing I was gonna get grumpy about. I am 6' 4" and this bike is a perfect size for me. The frame is 20", no one one the entire internet has given this valuable information including the schwinn website. So yes if you're very tall this bike will work. There also is plenty more seat bar too for someone taller than me, I would say a 6' 9" person could sit comfortably on this bike. The front suspension is very soft and mine makes a bit of a squeaky noise but I think its going away quickly. I can't hear it over my headphones. The grips are very nice too they have a kinda extension for the bottom half of your palm to rest on, relieving pressure from the top half of your palm. The fenders are plastic and very cheap which is my only real complaint also they don't match the green either they are lighter green than the painted frame. Again very happy with this bike.

I just received this bike via Amazon. The bike itself is really a bargain! The bike is much better quality than I expected from a Chinese built Schwinn.
I owned Sting Rays when they were built in Chicago. (I'm dating myself) Everything was easy to put together and most of it was assembled. Didn't even need the instructions! Only issue was the fender struts are a little funky the way they mount on the plastic fenders. Twists the fender a little.
Now the bad news...The packaging for this bike is horrible! Unless it is being shipped from your state, I suggest your odds are better in Vegas than it being perfect when it arrives. I mean the bottom of the box...(Which became the top by default) was ripped wide open, both wheel hubs were protruding out the sides and 1 big fist size hole for some UPS reason. (Disgruntled worker?) To my disbelief.....It was all there and in good shape!!!!
This says more about the bike construction than the packaging. It was only 1 thickness of double-wall corregated box. Mine was shipped from Tennessee
to Portland, but it looked like it came off a barge from China! All I can say is" Don't plan a ride the weekend it arrives!" You will probably be getting replacement parts. Hope this helps. I did contact Amazon about the issue.

The bike arrived as specified when the Amazon order was confirmed. The bike was shipped double boxed, not sure if FedEx supplied the second large box or if Amazon packed it; this helped to minimize any shipping damage. The bike arrived with no visible damage and to date everything seems fine with the bike. The bike was mostly assembled, but did require some assembly for items such as handle bars and front wheel that could not be mounted for shipment. Assembly requires some tools that a typical purchaser may not have and some mechanical ability is required, but I did not have any problems. Assembly took about thirty minutes and some time was required to make minor adjustments to the rear gear shifter and the caliper brakes. The bike is comfortable to ride for general commuting use and the seven speed gear shifter is more than adequate for use around the Houston area on flat terrain; I did not want a 21 or 23 speed mountain type bike or a racer with skinny tires. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love the bike the frame is great and the supplied seat works quite well. The only thing I would change are the tires, so I did. I got some tires with more tread and this bike is now the perfect commuter.

I give this a four star only because the shipping carton had been opened, the staples pulled out, and the box re-secured with clear tape. Damage to the carton corners had chipped very small chips from the ends of the luggage rack. However, the bike was otherwise undamaged and I was able to assemble it with minimum difficulty; the only tools needed were a medium crescent wrench, Phillips screwdriver, and an allen wrench set. I would not recommend this bike for long trips or hills since it has only seven speeds. However, the bike is just what I need to cruise around my Florida neighborhood and make short trips to and from the pool and gym; well worth the price.
