This seat is pretty good. It's not very cushioned or soft but it's a lot bigger and more padded than the seats that come with other bikes. I like it because it gives me more support and a bigger area back there and I'm not sore the next time I go to ride my bike! Make sure that you tighten it up real good using a 9/16 wrench, otherwise you might be riding and it will slide back on you. This happened to me this week and there is no fixing it unless you've got a tool on you.

On the face of it, this saddle seems soft - do any distance on it more than a mile and it's full of hard pressure points.

I ride my road bike on a wide range of surfaces. So comfort and support are critical. My right hip was painful on my original saddle. So after pricing and sizing numerous saddles. I'm happy I selected this model. The pain is gone.
I've been riding all my boomer life outdoors and on exercise bikes. I know saddles. This Schwinn works for me. It does take some patience to mount on a road bike the saddle support rails and air cushioning leave very little space to maneuver. But hey I did it.
