This seat is pretty good. It's not very cushioned or soft but it's a lot bigger and more padded than the seats that come with other bikes. I like it because it gives me more support and a bigger area back there and I'm not sore the next time I go to ride my bike! Make sure that you tighten it up real good using a 9/16 wrench, otherwise you might be riding and it will slide back on you. This happened to me this week and there is no fixing it unless you've got a tool on you.

On the face of it, this saddle seems soft - do any distance on it more than a mile and it's full of hard pressure points.

I ride my road bike on a wide range of surfaces. So comfort and support are critical. My right hip was painful on my original saddle. So after pricing and sizing numerous saddles. I'm happy I selected this model. The pain is gone.
I've been riding all my boomer life outdoors and on exercise bikes. I know saddles. This Schwinn works for me.

It does take some patience to mount on a road bike the saddle support rails and air cushioning leave very little
space to maneuver. But hey I did it.

This looks really nice and is more comfortable than a stock seat but it is nowhere near as comfotable than the cloud 9 countour seat. A screw did fall out of the bottom on me and I needed to put a larger one in to hold the tongue together.

The seat is a bit stiff when it first arrives, but after breaking it in, it's not too bad. Only major problem I noticed was that the rubber plugs on the underside keep popping off when I sat down and the screw that held the plastic to the seat eventually fell off. The seat is fine but construction of the body is horrible.
