5.0 out of 5 stars Seems to be the smart choice
My wife and I ordered this stroller on-line, shipping was very fast, and I am sure we made a wise decision. The product is very well made and looks great. If you are going to buy this type of stroller, definately get one with a front wheel that turns. If you are not sure, go to a store and try to manuever one without this feature, you should be sold immediately. The...

3.0 out of 5 stars One thing that frustrates the heck outta me!
The stroller is great, and rides very smooth. There is just one thing that really irritates me to death about it; the back wheel locks were very poorly designed. I will try my best to explain the design - the piece that locks the back wheels from moving is a bar that you push up or down - when the bar is down, the wheels are locked and the stroller does not move (this...

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems to be the smart choice, March 17, 2005
This review is from: Schwinn Safari TT Swivel Jogging Stroller (Baby Product)
My wife and I ordered this stroller on-line, shipping was very fast, and I am sure we made a wise decision. The product is very well made and looks great. If you are going to buy this type of stroller, definately get one with a front wheel that turns. If you are not sure, go to a store and try to manuever one without this feature, you should be sold immediately. The front wheel locks for jogging and since it also swivels, you can take this stroller anywhere, except a store with narrow aisles. It is a little bulky, but that seems to be the only downside.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, not great!!, February 27, 2007

(REAL NAME)
I really like this stroller. It is almost like a jogger at a stroller price. The handles are adjustable so persons of different heights can use it. The back rest is adjustable too, from a low incline to upright for a bigger child. The swivel wheel at the front which can also be a fixed wheel with just the flick of a small switch. It is easy to set up, easy to handle and folds quickly with one hand. Does not take up a lot of space when folded. The large wheels allow me to go over all kinds of terrain and my son who is just 2 months seems very comfortable.

It is not great because I find that the canopy does not come down far enough, sometimes only shielding half his face. Maybe it is because he is still little, I don't know.

It is too cumbersome to get him in and out. I can just lift him over the infant console for now, but when he is bigger I will have to pull off the front console every time
I put him in and out and I find it difficult to put back on.
The parent console is an excellent idea but the bottle holder is not deep enough to hold my 1/2 liter bottled water. The bottle keeps toppling over.

The storage basket could be bigger, and I find it interesting that the company sells a bigger basket separately as an additional accessory. The company also sells mosquito netting, rain shield and thicker padding as additional accessories.

I do not usually buy a product without customer reviews. I took a chance and am still happy with it. It is a fairly good product 4 stars, but if they could just remedy these issues, it would be excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost Perfect, January 26, 2006
This review is from: Schwinn Safari TT Swivel Jogging Stroller (Baby Product)
I've been through a lot of strollers, and this is one of the best I've had. It handles beautifully. The front swivel wheel makes it extremely easy to maneuver. My 2 year old son is very comfortable in it, and I love the fact that it reclines. The parent and child trays are great to have as well. My only minor complaints are that the parent cup holder is pretty shallow (I have to grab my tea mug out of it when I go over a bump so it doesn't slosh or fall out), and the basket underneath is a little hard to access. Otherwise, I adore this stroller.

The stroller is great, and rides very smooth. There is just one thing that really irritates me to death about it; the back wheel locks were very poorly designed. I will try my best to explain the design - the piece that locks the back wheels from moving is a bar that you push up or down - when the bar is down, the wheels are locked and the stroller does not move (this part works fine) - when the bar is up, the lock is released and the stroller is suppose to move freely, however, the bar does not stay in the "up" position and tends to creep back down causing the locking piece and the wheels to hit each other - this makes an annoying thumping sound and can't be good for the system.

5.0 out of 5 stars WE LOVE THIS STROLLER!, July 3, 2007
We have had this stroller for a little over a month now and LOVE IT! Our daughter is 8 months old and she loves it also. There is plenty of storage space also, which is so handy. The ride is so smooth and quiet. We were using your standard Evenflo stroller before and when we went for our first walk with this one, we were shocked at how quiet it was. I would definitely recommend this stroller.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best stroller I've ever seen!, August 23, 2007
By
I bought this stoller after much research and I am 100% satisfied. It is extremely easy and comfortable to maneuver, the basket is big enough for a quick trip to the supermarket and the pocket holds wallet, keys, phone etc. My 10 month old is very happy riding in this stroller and the adjustable footrest will be useful as she gets older. The sunshade protects her well and the reclining seat means that she can either be sitting up to look around her or lying back to nap. In my opinion, this stroller has everything!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller, November 10, 2006
This review is from: Schwinn Safari TT Swivel Jogging Stroller (Baby Product)
I am the type of person who spends a lot of time researching a product I am intersted in before I buy it. Every stroller I looked into kept bringing me back to this stroller. Since I was ordering it online, I went to Academy, Sports Authority, and other stores that carry the In-step stroller because it was similar in size (I could not find the Schwinn at retail shops). After doing all this research I finally decided to get the Schwinn. I cannot begin tell you how pleased I am with this product. I have not used it for jogging yet, but I do not see it being a problem as a joggin stroller. Ever since we got it, my family has been going on neighborhood walks all the time. It has been great bonding experiences for the entire family. We don't even use a regular stroller anymore for our everyday errands or trips. This stroller is the easiest stroller to maneuver with the front wheel not being a fixed wheel (f.y.i..it is easy to lock the wheel if you need to). By the way, the swivel wheel is a must if you plan on using this stroller for an everyday stroller. We can go on grass, unlevel sidewalks, muddy paths, etc. without any problems. The other nice thing is the pnuematic wheels make pushing the stroller so easy, it feels like you are barely pushing anything. Besides folding down to a good size, the stroller even breaks down easily to store in tight places. You can pop of the trays, wheels, and lower the handle bar without eaze. They also reattach just as quickly. As I mentioned, the handle bar raises and lowers easily so it makes it easy to have someone else push the stroller that may be a different height than you are.

The only negative things I have to say about the stroller is the seat belt could have been designed a little better. I am always afraid I am going to get my finger caught when I pop it together. The top parent tray sometimes pops off when I am folding down the stroller and putting it in the car, but that does not happen often enough to be a problem.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I only wish I had it when our first child was born.

5.0 out of 5 stars great stroller, August 9, 2008

Alia (Lafayette, IN) - See all my reviews
I was a little reluctant to buy this stroller because of the reviews, the not removable child tray, the too swallow cup holders, it turns out none of them were true. The child tray can be removed, and even if you decide to keep it, the space is big enough that your child will not be cramped. It is very spacious, my daughter is almost 4 now and can get in and out easily. The cup holders are not very wide , but they they are deep enough that your bottle won`t fall, and bcs they are a little tight, ur water bottle is kinda stuck in there, I went for a run and it worked perfect, my bottle did not fell. One of the reviews was talking about the size of it and that is not very compact, well, I drive a Hyundai Sonata and it fit only in half of the trunk easily, and still have plenty of space. The wheels are so easy to remove, I am not a very strong person, but this worked perfect. The handle, from where you push is adjustable, so if you are 5 feet tall like I am you can easily have it for your size. The bag underneath the stroller isn`t too deep, but for what I paid I am very happy. A lot of people do not give fair reviews to products, be happy with the price you paid, if you want something close to perfection maybe you should spend more than 100$ on a stroller.

5.0 out of 5 stars This stroller ROCKS!, May 4, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I can't stand when people rip a product apart during reviews like they're getting paid by a competitor or something. Take this product for what it is - A STROLLER! They cannot please every single person's requirements for what a "perfect" stroller is. That being said, let me say this stroller really is exceptional. It is REALLY well made and durable. My son (9 months) is just as comfy as my three year old daughter, so it works out for the big kids as well as the little ones. It turns on a dime, it keeps jolting over terrain to an absolute minimum, and the storage basket is large enough. I have FOUR kids and it holds what I need. If I can keep my load to a minimum on outings, you can, too! For what I wanted this (walking/shopping), it's awesome and serves my needs well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fine stroller. Buy this one with confidence. Thanks for the GREAT price, Amazon! (I paid under $100 for mine with free shipping!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Jogger, January 9, 2007
This review is from: Schwinn Safari TT Swivel Jogging Stroller (Baby Product)
I purchased this jogger for my birthday and have loved it. I was using just a regular stroller it felt like I was pushing a ton of bricks and my back would hurt because i had to bend over to reach the handle! This jogger stroller is awesome!! It feels like pushing air!
My favorite things about it are: 1. It's locking or unlocked option on the front wheel it manuvers extrememly well. 2. The adjustable height of the handle bars. This option was a must because my husband is 6'4" and now he can comfortable push the stroller as well. 3. The easy zip cord to lower or raise the back of the seat. When my baby would fall asleep I just pull on the cord for an easy let down. When he wanted to sit up just a quick pull on the cords and it was up again. COOL!

Running with this stroller is a pleasure and the seat for my baby is amply cushioned and seems very comfy.
