The High Timber Women's Mountain Bike from Schwinn offers trail-ready features and everyday riding appeal with a rugged steel frame and a shock-absorbing Suntour suspension fork. I purchased this bike (assembled) at a local retailer this spring in the face of $4 per gallon gas. It has been a fine ride from day one. I commute to work (four miles round trip), run errands (most anything within 7 miles one way), and of course take joyrides. I have outfitted it with a water bottle holder, a Topeak Explorer Bike Rack and Topeak MTX Trunk Bag DX. It was easy to install the rack because of the pre-tapped holes in the seat post (which come plugged but can be easily removed with an allen wrench). This is the first bike I have had in more than 15 years and a lot has changed: the shifters are part of the handles, the seat and front wheel are quick release (no tools required) and it is much lighter than my old Huffy. I mounted hooks in the rafters of my garage to store it up and out of the way and I can lift it up by myself. Really a nice deal.

The bike was promptly delivered and the contents were not harmed.
The Bike was a gift for my daughter. The assembly was easy and the instructions were adequate. The bike is realtively light in weight despite the HiTen steel frame. The bike rides smooth and the handle grip shifting is easy too. Good bike for the money.

This bike arrived in good condition. It was a little more difficult to put together than we thought, but still easily done. It is a nicer metallic blue than it appeared in the advertisement - more subdued, less like a bright baby blue. No problems so far. The price was good.
