I purchased this bike (assembled) at a local retailer this spring in the face of $4 per gallon gas. It has been a fine ride from day one. I commute to work (four miles round trip), run errands (most anything within 7 miles one way), and of course take joyrides. I have outfitted it with a water bottle holder, a Topeak Explorer Bike Rack and Topeak MTX Trunk Bag DX. It was easy to install the rack because of the pre-tapped holes in the seat post (which come plugged but can be easily removed with an allen wrench). This is the first bike I have had in more than 15 years and a lot has changed: the shifters are part of the handles, the seat and front wheel are quick release (no tools required) and it is much lighter than my old Huffy. I mounted hooks in the rafters of my garage to store it up and out of the way and I can lift it up by myself. Really a nice deal.

The bike was promptly delivered and the contents were not harmed.
The Bike was a gift for my daughter. The assembly was easy and the instructions were adequate. The bike is realtively light in weight despite the HiTen steel frame. The bike rides smooth and the handle grip shifting is easy too. Good bike for the money.

This bike arrived in good condition. It was a little more difficult to put together than we thought, but still easily done. It is a nicer metallic blue than it appeared in the advertisement - more subdued, less like a bright baby blue. No problems so far. The price was good.

Bought the bike a week ago from my local super chain store and have decked it out since. I love the color blue and Schwinn was a name i was familiar with so i assumed the bike wouldn't fail me. I bought it pre-assembled for about 184.90 tax included. The seat it comes with is a nice seat if you are planning on short rides or real mountain riding where you don't really sit on it too much. My only complaint is that the ticking sound the bike makes when not peddling seems louder than i think it should be. Really wish i could make it quieter so i don't wake the neighborhood when i am riding through. lol

If you are planning on attaching things, beware that as you know its a Schwinn so that means you'll need Metric wrenches and screws and bolts and washers and what not. I purchased a Topeak Explorer Bike Rack and had to buy a few parts because the screws provided were smaller than the bikes pre-threaded holes. I also had to use my drill to make the holes on the rack bigger to fit the new screws.

Other than that the bike is great. The front wheel has a nice shock absorber and its very sturdy, i've gone through several large potholes and off a few curbs with no damage yet. ha ha.

I bought this for my wife, and it's her first bike.
the FREE shipment arrived within 5 days in a big box. Assembly is quite easy, done in less than 30 minutes, not bad for the first time.
For the price I paid it beat the dept store bike.

She said it rides better than the Trek that we had when we were at the resort.

Easily assembled. Very user friendly and with lots of great features like the quick release to adjust the seat and remove the front tire. I hope to have many enjoyable years of use.

Bike was delivered promptly and was very easy to assemble.
Front tire, seat, handlebars, and pedals were the only things to attach to the frame. Back tire came connected to frame along with chain and gears.

All you need is an alan wrench, a pair of plyers and an air pump and you will be ready to ride in about 15 min.

We purchased this bike for our granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. It was easy to assemble and we are very happy with this purchase.

I'll say right off that I bought this bike in purple for $190 and I see that the price has changed to $220 ish. Even for the old price of $190 I sent it back. First of all, it came from Wsports and had the wrong part on the left hand shifter. The counter sprocket grip shifter had 7 clicks where it should have had 3 clicks to accomodate the 3 counter sprockets. There are coincidentally 7 rear sprockets which is why I know they had put the wrong left hand shifter on the bike. I'll also say that even if the bike had been shipped with all the right parts I still would have sent it back. It wasn't absolutely horrible but nothing on the bike seemed to warrant its price tag. Derailleurs, v-brakes, kickstand, forks, handlebars, most all hardware seemed like the type of stuff you'd find on a 90 dollar bicycle at a superstore like walmart or target. Also the frame was very heavy. It says the shipping weight is 25 pounds but I will approximate that this bike weighs near 40 pounds. I bought this bike along with a Schwinn Solution FS AL and the Solution is 100 times better bike. The difference in quality and parts of the two bikes greatly outweighs the 20-50 price difference. All the good reviews baffle me. I guess people just psyche themselves into being happy with what they got, but I know better and sent it back. Dont waste your time here. BTW I got a refund and bought another Solution FS AL instead.

I purchased this along with the men's version. While this one went together relatively smoothly and rides pretty well, the Men's was a disaster. Be warned that it really is a roll of the dice when you order a bike online as to how it will arrive.
