We are long time Amazon shoppers and love it, but these are the worst training wheels I've ever bought. My 6 year old daughter fell over after 15 seconds of riding because the training wheels just buckled (bent). Enough said.

These started to bend the first time we used them, and they aren't going to last long. I just hope my kid learns before the things become completely unuseable.

I purchased these specifically because the training wheels pictured would match my daughter's new bicycle...what I received will be functional, but I was disappointed by being mislead by either a funky photograph or a completely different looking item.

It is very good and sturdy Training wheel.I assume bad review about this product is not actual review for this Schwinn Training Wheels 16"-20". The earlier one , which I bought from Walmart or Target, bends down often and my son stopped riding cycle. Now after fixing this, he likes to ride and within few more days, he will be ready to ride without Training wheels. I highly recommend this.

I can't believe I found these. Old fashioned yes but my first grandson-4-now tells his litle brothers-1 & 2- 'When you get smart like me Granny will let you ride the real bike like me' Self confidence is hard to find sometimes- and I don't mean cocky! These training wheels give learning back to the child and it works!

Just got these and installed on a Christmas gift, 18" boys bike. They fit like a glove and are built quite strongly. They are exactly as they appeared in the picture. I think, for the price especially, they are a great set of training wheels. I can't imagine having any issues with them. The steel of the main frame is thick and the riveted brace make them extra sturdy in my view. My kid is 45 pounds and the bike is about 25 pounds. They have all the hardware to mount wheels and the frames themselves to the bike rear axle bolt including spacers and alignment clip for each side. These are good for us. I would recommend them.

As with others the item received was not what was pictured. I was hoping to receive the wheels with the two different length black angle iron, sturdy leg-bike attachments that are pictured. What I received was much flimsier stanless steel. Our Schwinn childs bike came with the training wheels that is pictured on Amazon, so I was hoping to replace the orignals which my wife threw out once my boy graduated beyond training wheels. Our youngest is now using the bike and needs trainers. Already had an accident with substandard stainless supports, so we are not going there again. Apparently from the messages there are some who got the pictured product, but obviously there are quite a few others, like us, who did not.

I think customers rating this product have confused it with another. Don't listen! These are made of 3/16" thick steel. Only an Elephant would bent them.

Bought this from Target for 7.99. But it started to bent after 2nd use and became unusable after a month. Don't waste your money and effort.
