5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use!, March 14, 2009
This review is from: Schwinn Turbo Trailer - Aluminum Bicycle Trailer (Misc.)
I bought this at Target a couple of days ago. We just recently got rid of our car because we live near transportation but we figured for odd trips a bicycle would be best. My children are huge, at 2 and 4 they both weigh 40 lbs so the double stroller we had was straining under the weight.

Pros:
Easy to assemble
Easy to pull - I never bike and I was able to pull 100+ of kids, trailer and gear up hills for 1/2 hour
Kids love it
Cup and food holder
Kids push their feet down on the canvas bottom and it doesn't scrape the ground
Must be a good ride - over broken pavement the kids just giggled
Good storage behind the seats
The gizmo (spring? coupling?) that joins the bike and the trailer is sturdy, flexible and easy to get on and off. The bike can fall down and it doesn't tip the trailer
It has a small profile, gets through doors and around people easily

Cons:
My kids are bigger than average, so they were squished. They're also still wearing heavy coats, so it could get better
The seatbelt clips are hard to undo
It is not very easy to fold down. Have to take off the cover, undo the bar, fold back the arm, fold the front wheel under and take off the wheels. Maybe I spoiled because we had a phil and ted that completely folded with two clips

Overall, great for the money and much better than what I expected!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy Bike Trailer, October 11, 2009
This review is from: Schwinn Turbo Trailer - Aluminum Bicycle Trailer (Misc.)
We bought this bike trailer early in the biking season (we now live where it is cold for about half of the year) and we have been biking happily whenever we can. This is a very good sturdy easy to use trailer/stroller that I would recommend especially since most others out there aren't any better and they cost a whole lot more.

Pros: *Easy to assemble & breakdown
*Seats one -or- two children comfortably
*Storage space in the rear
*Rain shield built in
*Fits in trunk
*Lightweight yet sturdy construction
*Easy to attach to /detatch from bike
*Unobtrusive design

Cons: *Does not attach to two of our bikes due to bike design (our Marins do not work with this trailer)
*Seating area / leg room is a bit lacking
*Seat back design has no "give"-- our toddler's head seems to be forced forward and down since the helmet is so bulky and the seat is at a 90 degree angle. When she falls alseep, her head falls inevitably to her chest.

All in all I would recommend this trailer / stroller. The design issues I found with this trailer seemed to be present in the others I tried out as well.
