My mother used to make these for us kids to play with (I am 76). My granddaughter is pregnant and I told her that her ultrasound looked like a sock monkey. She wanted one - so I bought it and she loves it as much (or more) than we did. I also stuck a banana in the top of the package which made it hilarious. I love those sock monkeys and am so happy that I found one with you;

I got this for my wife and she really likes it. She had purchased one for me from the Crackerbarrel, so I got her one that is a little different. It is cute, detailed and well made, but I wouldn't use this as a "toy" for a child to play with - it is too delicate. Our two sit on one of our bookshelves and are cute conversation pieces that we'll hopefully hand down to the kids or grandkids some day. The 20" height is a good size.
