I bought this tea set for a 3 year old who loves to play tea. However, the cups and other parts were a little too small on this set. All tea sets are small but this set is actually kind of tiny which is why it is able to contain 30 pieces.

My 3 YO daughter is a girly-girl and I bought this little teaset for her for Christmas. It's very cute, but it is very very tiny. The cups are maybe a half inch tall. I had hoped to actually have tea parties with my daughter (and son), but it's all just way too tiny for chunky/clumsy little fingers.

My five and six-year-old daughters love this tea set. Perfect for the traditional doll tea parties and picnics. They love packing and unpacking all the items, and it's pretty/girly!

My sister (3 yrs.) loved to play with my tea set (from quite some time ago) which is also like the tea set here except mine has Madeline. My mom and I thought she deserved her own tea set so we bought it for her and she absolutely loves it!

This tea set is a beautiful gift for the childs tea set lover. I searched many online stores for a tea set that came in a basket and was reasonably priced. This set sells for more on other sites and it is difficult to find a set with the matching basket. This gift was for an adult collector and she thought it was charming, well packaged and liked the fact that matching napkins and a tablecloth were also included. The shipping was fast and the cost reasonable. I would like to see Amazon carry this product as their own to be included in free super saving shipping, but all-in-all this is a nice child sized, beautfiully packaged, reasonably priced set.

This set is very very cute, but it is very very small. My daughter wanted a tea set so bad and we finally got what we thought was a really cute one. when it arrived it was very disappointing. It was the tiniest tea set I have ever seen. The plate will barely hold the size of a ritz cracker. I would have never paid $30 for this had I saw it prior to purchasing.

Butterfly Teaset Basket This teaset was a gift for my six year old granddaughter. The family has enjoyed many hours of tea parties with the children learning the proper behavior for same. This is a wonderful gift for any little girl. The age of the child would depend upon their maturity.

My issue with the Butterflly Tea Set Is with the basket carrying case and not the tea itself. While the porcelain pieces are nice and the basket and gingham fabric are "ok", the molded plastic foundation inside is flimsy and not attached in any way to the basket; also the fabric covering the foundation is loose and/or bunched up, making it difficult to tell where pieces should be placed. In fact, two pieces are broken already after falling out before basket is fully opened. The set is basically unusable by my 3 year old.

I find it hard to believe that this product could continue to be sold at this $30 price and I realize My particular set may be defective as most reviews don't mention this problem. I have contacted the seller with my concerns.

This tea set is absolutely adorable! Even with the other reviews, I decided to buy it because of the cute design. Unfortunately, it is too small (cups will only hold 2 Tablespoons when filled to the brim). My daughter is almost 4 years old and I purchased this to use as her birthday gift so that she could have tea parties. This set would be perfect for a pretend tea party! But, my daughter loves to drink real tea (she calls it honey milk because that's what I put in it) and usually drinks out of one of my smaller mugs. So, I am going to return this set and I just purchased an adult tea set that I think will be better suited for my daughter.

I was very pleased with the tea set although I didn't realize it was as small as it was. It was received in great condition.
