5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and teaches areodynamics
My second-grader and pre-schooler love this attachment. They like to blow on it to make it go when the bike is parked, so I'm glad it detaches easily because otherwise two very unhappy boys if the plane broke off when pulled on. Fun, cheap entertainment.

3.0 out of 5 stars cute, needs a toddler version
This plane is cute. My son tries to play with it while in his bike seat and it does detach fairly easily from the base which is good for older kids, but my toddler drops it. It would be great if it stayed attached so he could move it up and down... maybe in the next version.

My son loved this toy for the only day he had it. It broke by the next day. The plastic pin that holds the propeller broke off with one bike ride.... it flew off. :(

Why are the quality of toys so horrid these days?

We have one of these. I can't help but hope that, when your little bike rider takes a spill, the sharp edges on this plane don't meet with any young skin. Ouch.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke Multiple Times, June 15, 2011
This review is from: Schylling Bike Aeroplane (Toy)
I love this plane and so did my kids when it was working. The problem is that it is cheap plastic and I kept having to come up with ways to fix it. Finally the blue tab that nests in the plane sheared off and it just wasn't worth attempting to repair with glue and tape once more. I sure wish there was a more rugged metal version.

2.0 out of 5 stars Plastic/Not Durable and also a little expensive, April 11, 2011

I originally ordered this plane to attach to my 70s bicycle I just restored. I put it on as an ornament to go with the bicycle; it looks nice and all but the quality is cheap. The plastic is flimsy, and the package it came with seemed as if it could be broken with two fingers. I would just recommend going to a swapmeet to buy an item like this. Unless you want it for your children; and even then the durability is horrible.

Hope this review helps you with your decision on buying this
