I bought this toy for my 19-month old grandson several months ago; it instantly became -- and still is -- his go-to toy. Outside, it's a "lawnmower." Inside, it's a "vacuum cleaner." And it's fascinating, even to adults, to see the colors changing as the cylinders rotate. He pushes it; he pulls it; he studies it. This is going to be the gift I take to any and all parties for year old children. What a find!

We own a large toy store, and I can say from experience that we have these things whirring around us ALL day and not one of them has ever broken. They get used and abused by kids of all ages, and everyone just loves them! They are not fragile at all... today a little 5-year-old girl was pushing it across the floor and ramming it into the shelves (Where was her mom?!) and it survived! :)

We found this at a local toy store and couldn't get it away from our little one. We went home and bought it on Amazon for half the price. Multiple intermeshing rollers create really cool rainbow effect within the main wheel, and our 15 month old loved it. Unfortunately, the rollers are held together internally by pressure from a spring in the axle hub, and unless your child is more gentle than a summer breeze, any use other than smooth rolling will eventually weaken the spring and the inner gears won't mesh. This means the inner rollers will stop rotating, and therefore, the cool rainbow effect won't occur. I couldn't get the spring to apply enough pressure to make it work again, nor could I get to it so that I could replace it, so after two months of play, it's just another roller that should have lasted longer. Can't bring myself to buy another one since it is so fragile, so its a bad review for a toy our little one loved.

My nephew received this as a first birthday present. He was very excited and it turned out to be one of his favorite gifts. He spent the rest of the day wandering around with it and watching the colors. The rest of the family liked that it didn't make any irritating sounds, just a kind of whirring sounds when pushed fast.

He likes running around as fast as possible watching the colors change. I love that it doesn't light up, play music, or otherwise rely on batteries. It does make a pretty annoying whirring sound, however.

My nephew loves the Schylling Color Roller. It is durable and colorful. He plays with it everyday. He also loves vacuum cleaners and spoons. He is 1 years old.

My 1 year old loves this toy! I bought it for his 1st birthday, after he saw it in a store and played with it the whole half hour I was there. He pushes it all around the house. It is also very cool to watch and has a fun sound, so the really whole family enjoys it. Great toy, I'd like to see what else this company has. : )

This toy works for at most 2-3 days when it makes noises and colors as it is supposed to. Then something happens and it stops! No clicking and no colors, only every now and then it moves a little. We exchanged it once but the second one had the same problem.

This toy is amazing! I have never seen a tree-dimensional object capable of changing entirely its colors by itself without using electrical power /like the TV screen/. The colors go from yellow to red and blue and all of the shades between them. I cannot recall any other object capable of doing it. It is unbelievable!
