My husband and I live on an island and go to the beach often. We bought this tent for our new 6 week old baby. We LOVE this tent. It sets up in seconds. Just pops right up. Then it closes in a snap. And yes it fits back into the portable bag it comes with. Our tent did come with stakes to anchor it into the beach and it worked great. It was really windy on the beach today and our tent did not fly away. I would recommend this to anyone with a baby who wants to go the beach.

We used this recently at the beach for our four-month-old, to keep her out of the sun. She was even able to nap in it. It was not windy at all, so I cannot speak to how well it stays in place in the wind (I imagine not well without tent tacks, which are not included). Our daughter could even get breastfed inside of it, privately. A very good product!

we have been very happy with this tent. the stakes make it so that it doesn't move even when the wind is blowing pretty hard. it stays fairly cool inside when the window and door are both open and it does a great job shading our baby. i definitely recommend this product!

Pros: Super-easy set-up and easy fold-down (the fold-down directions provided are not clear, but we got it after a few tries) It held up great on a windy day on a NC beach with the stakes down and sand in the sides. It was also very comfortable inside even with just the one window and door. It is big enough for an adult to sit-up in which was helpful for discrete breastfeeding.

Cons: None at this time.

I got this tent for our six month old for a beach vacation!

- It would be nice if it came with stakes for beach use. I had to put a bag in the back to keep it open.

Bought this for our 1 year old's first trip to Maui. It worked perfectly. It packs nice and small, sets up very quickly and was just fine in light wind. Contrary to some of the other reviews, mine DID come with tent stakes that worked just fine in beach sand. The interior stayed nice and cool even in mid-day sun. Our child took a nap inside on a couple of occasions. Very good product and a great value. Very happy parents and child.

I bought this tent for a trip to Hawaii with my 11 week old. I was extremely worried about sun exposure while being on the beach. This tent worked perfectly! It kept my baby out of the sun and gave me a place to breast feed her right on the beach but still having some privacy. The tent was easily packed in our luggage. I'm so glad I brought it on our trip. I plan on using it this summer so my baby can be outside with us while we are gardening. I'm sure when she gets older she will love having the tent to play in.

We bought this for our infant for the beach. It has worked exactly as expected. It is easy to fold, small to store. Great product.

This beach tent is wonderful. It not only fits my 7 month old in his car seat, but my 2 year old toddler can also fit in there to take a nap as well. It was a huge life saver when we were on vacation at the beach with my parents this summer and it has continued to be a life saver when we go out to the beach with our friends. We are able to set it up really quickly and get our little one in and out of the sun with out any problems. Both our children love the tent and enjoy getting to be out of the sun. It will continue to be used over the next few years, we are actually looking at purchasing a bigger tent to fit all of us in sometime next year, but we will still use this one for the two little ones so they have their own little space. I would definetly recommend this product to anyone who likes to be out in the sun at the beach, in the backyard, or even at the pool. We have used it at the pool and we just use rolled up towels in the sand pockets to hold it down or put the baby's car seat in it to hold it down. Either way it is very useful and easy to put up and take down.

We bought this tent to go to Cuba with our 5 months old baby. It was light, easy to carry in our luggage or at the beach and it install in seconds! You just need to practice to put it back in the bag (images are not really clear to help you to fold it back) but once you catch the trick, it is easy and quick to fold. We put our stuff in the corners of the tent so it did not go away with the wind. Great to change baby, I was even able to breastfeed the baby in it! Great article, we already know we are going to used it in the backyard and at the countryhouse this summer!
