I bought this for my brother in Iraq. He is the sheriff for his unit cell on his base compound. While I know he can't wear it on his uniform, I thought it would be a fun gift for his desk or wall. It was the exact 'pointed sheriff's star' I had envisioned for the gift. He loved it and has it on the rear view mirror of his official vehicle, the one with the sheriff license plate. Thank you for letting me give him a bit of humor and fun during his deployment.

i purchased this for my son's costume to wear attached to his cowboy vest. rather than pinning on like a normal badge, it has clip on the back that makes it totally useless. in order for him to even wear it, i had to cut a hole in the vest for the clip to go through, and then the weight of the badge pulled it down so much that i had to bend the clip to make it sit flat on the vest. the clip was attached very poorly and very crooked. my bending it into place made it feel like it was about to break off. all of this could have been avoided if they had just attached a pin to the back rather than the useless clip. i mean what were they thinking? how is this supposed to be worn? because it is impossible to attach it to a shirt as is. bad, bad construction schilling.

this badge arrive promptly in a very nice package. It was not needed until 6/13 so I didn't open it until 6/11 when I wanted to put it on the costume it was ordered for. When I pushed the clip on the back to attach it it immediatly broke off. Luckily I had metal glue, a clamp & the time to fix it before it was needed. The quality is very poor. I would not recommend it at all.
