Had lava lights in the 70s. Nice to have them back. They look an work good. Now have 3 again. Well packaged, shipped an received on time.

I ordered this lava lamp off this Amazon page, the one that says, "Yellow Wax with Blue Liquid."

I'm writing in to say this is not exactly true. The wax is kind of a dull green, at least once you get it going. Snot green, if you will pardon me. I'm not sure why they say "Yellow."

In fact, in the picture I see up there at the time of this writing, the wax is a darkish green. Perhaps it's gonna look like that after it ages a bit (?), but it doesn't look like that now.

And the water is more of a weak aquamarine rather than a blue proper.

Initially, I had a small issue with the delivery. However, they responded to my issue almost immediately, and resolved it completely. It is clear to me they understand customer service and stand behind their products.

I wanted a lava lamp in the 1960's, but never indulged myself. Now that I'M in my 60's I finally bought one. I love it! Kate Hulbert

The product shipped quickly, arrived in one piece, and it worked as promised. I gave it to my sister for Christmas, and as a child of the '70's, she loved watching it morph on Christmas morning. Thanks for helping me find it and get it in time for Christmas

If you're looking for the original Lava lamp, this is it! It's large, the colors are good and heats up nicely. I was very pleased with it's delivery. It arrived in excellent condition and on time.

I asked for this lamp for Christmas because it looked really cool and I thought it would look nice in my room. I'm really happy with it. It looks great and it's really cool. The only thing is that if the actual lamp is cold, it will take a while to start working. On mine, the glass was cold and it turned on, but the wax was just laying at the bottom. After a while, it heated up and then it worked great. I highly recommend this lamp!

If you're looking for a really unique mood light, or a retro look for your room, this Lava Lamp would be right up your alley.
This is exactly like the one my big brother had when I was a youngster!
It takes an hour, or so, to warm up, so don't look for an immediate "lava effect", but given a little time, it produces a really cool, colorful display.
Some assembly required, but it is minimal.
I love it, and the kids love it.
