I love this bank. It works perfectly. This is the second one I have purchased. The first one was purchased two years ago and still works perfectly.

I had this when I was a kid so I bought 4 for my family. 1 out of 4 worked. TnT Toys was FANTASTIC - the president responded less than an hour after I emailed and said he would personally test each one before sending 3 replacements. He sent them priority and they arrived in time for Christmas. They are all a bit temperamental and sometimes require a good shake to work. If full of coins the motor runs quite loudly, so it's mainly a neat gimmick to watch a few times. Also very hard to get the money out - grab the top while the hand is snatching the coin.

It is great. Not the original one I had as a kid but it is very close. Actually the only difference is the hand color I think. Mine was green and this one is white but thats okay. I love it and am glad I found one I could afford.

This toy worked for all of 5 minutes. Then it seemed to jam and not work anymore. I tried a number of things to fix it, which was challenging because it is not well made. Nothing worked. This product is made in China. Why don't product descriptions from Amazon indicate where products are made?

Grabby Grabby Works.... :D,

The company contacted me on my email concerning my original rating and poor experience. They asked if they could send me a new one and if I'd rate it again.Company sent this one free of charge. They tried really hard and I commend them for contacting me out of the blue to rectify the problem :) So here is my new review: Put batteries in, turned it on, placed coin in slot. Lo and behold it works!!! A small fleshy, rubbery, pinkish hand reached out and took the coin and snapped back in. Grabby grabby works great :). Sometimes the fleshy finger misses the coin due to the rocking of the box, but that just adds to the complete silliness! I'm going to call him Bernanke: He takes all your money and snaps back into his dark hole. Love it!

I bought two of these banks and the ones that I received have such sloppy, loose battery holders and such terribly designed contacts that you have to fidget with them to get them to work even one time. Gave them to our grandsons who were not impressed and agreed that I should return them. They would work well if the batteries were more securely mounted and not free to rattle around. The use of a philips flat head screw as a contact is stupid. The battery compartment lid is feeble but secured by a hard-to-actuate lever. These are build cheap and they show it. Not worth more than $1.99. A very poor item.

this toy is great fun with a surprise element that makes people laugh. unfortunately, it works sometimes, but not others. we can't seem to make it work every time, and need to fiddle with it to make it work.

When I received this bank, I put batteries in it and it worked good. I wrapped it up and gave it to my son for his birthday. It worked a few times, then quit. I thought maybe the batteries were bad. I replaced them and tried again. NOTHING!! I wiggled it, shook it and it worked again. Later that day, it quit working. It seems as though I have to really mess with it to get it to work. It is a cute idea, but too unpredictable.

I received this bank today, opened it up, added batteries, followed the instructions for inserting money and...nothing. My husband and I proceeded to mess around with it for several minutes to no avail. Good thing I tried it out before I gave it to my son for Christmas!
