I purchased the sock monkey for my husband after watching Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. We fell in love with the character instantly. I could have purchased the official sock monkey from the movie for 60 dollars more, but I like to save. The only difference between this monkey and the one from the movie is a small monogrmed heart on his chest. My husband loves the sock monkey I purchased and would kill me if he knew I was telling anyone. A plus item, quick shipping...no problems.

I used to make sock monkey dolls for my children when they were young. When I purchased the sock monkey doll, I didn't know how it would look, but I was amazed! It looked better than my hand made dolls.

I figure by the time I bought the socks, stuffing, and yarn, and paid for the shipping on the socks, it would probably cost me more to make them, and they wouldn't look as nice as the one I purchased.

These are adorable and are good quality.

I had a sock monkey as a kid, and it was one of my favorite toys. I recently sent one to a friend's child as a birthday gift, and it's been a huge hit. I've since ordered more than twenty others as gifts. It's great to see kids playing with a toy that builds their imagination and creativity.

My daughter loved this toy. She loves monkeys, and this doll at 20" is very huggable. Good classic toy in modern production.

I've had my sock monkey for about two weeks now. All I do is sleep with it at night, but the stitching on the back of the right arm is coming apart, and some of the stuffing is already coming out. It's a good toy, but not recommended for young children.

This thing is a total ripoff...using keywords like "original" in their listing, this manufacturer leads you to believe you're getting an authentic product. This stuffed monkey is not even made out of a sock, which is kind of the whole POINT of a sock monkey. It's cheap, looks cheap, feels cheap, and is NOT what it says it is. Buyer beware. If you want something that just kind of looks similar to the sock monkeys you remember as a kid, then sure, get this crappy thing. If you want an actual SOCK MONKEY, then buy from someone who sews them, get a kit and make one yourself, or do what I did immediately upon sending this piece of garbage back--buy one from Cracker Barrel's website. The authentic sock monkey I got from CB is a far, far superior product, for the same price as this cheap knock-off.

First thing, this is very cute (except I was a little taken back when I looked at it's back side and it's bottom looks like a baboon's, lol! Anyway, I was looking for a little monkey, but this one is about as tall as my 1 year old! Maybe he's a little intimidated, but it's still cute!

My (now adult) son grew up with sock monkies. I now have a 6 month-old-grandson...whom I felt MUST experience a sock monkey. This one is great...good price, good quality, no buttons to come off (eyes are embroidered). There are monkies for higher prices, but after the first one arrived, I ordered a "back up monkey", just in case the first one is loved "to death".

What a great gift! I gave one to my 13 year old daughter and she loved it! It's soft and durable. Great buy
