I first saw the Duck on a Trike at a friend's house. His assistant had given it to him and said, "Because nothing says 'Christmas' like a duck riding a trike." I had to have one.

My wife and I enjoyed it so much, we gave them to friends and family with children and they just went nuts. The safety message is no joke as these toys are just stamped steel and they do have a spinning propeller. That said, with a bit of adult supervision, my six-year-old cousin can operate it safely. There are different quality levels out there but all seem to function at least fairly well on smooth surfaces. The Duck is a hoot at Christmas and is good fun in an electronic toy world.

I have a similar toy I bought in Germany decades ago. As I didn't want my child playing with it, I was glad to find this similar item. It is REALLY cheaply made. It does not run smoothly and it is not connected well. There are many sharp edges at the seams and tips. Sad really. How hard would it be to put the thing together properly?

I bought this for my son. It looks nice on the Amazon website. However, when I received the real thing I was deeply disappointed. It is made of cheap iron pieces and not very sturdy overall. The wheels are crapy and because of the light weight this toy could not run properly on most surfaces including glass and carpet and waxed harwood floor. This piece of junk was made in China. I came from China. Believe me, things like this would only sold for less than 1$ in China. I dont know why when this kind of stuff imported to US and sell for ten times more. Because people in American are rich and stupid? I dont think so. Amazon should reconsider the price. 15$ is really a robbery.

The edges are so sharp and so badly finished, that it could turn out to be dangerous for adults who handle this toy too. Worst toy ever. Stay away people.

This toy captivates the attention of my toddler and usually of any adult that is in the room. Fun and classic toy.

I'm so happy to find this amazing non-elecronic toy! I has been searching for these old-fashioned toys for a lot of years without success, but I surprised when I found on Amazon. Toy is really funny, remember me a circus act....and a plus: doesn't need Batteries!!! Its construction is excellent, metal is well assembled and painted, internal mechanism seems durable. This toy is for collectors (I know) but I think It could be a really interesting toy for kids, they can explore other levels of entertainment...oh yes kid, you don't need a wii to have fun...

It took quite a while to get this to work (several weeks actually, had to take it apart) but once it did it gave everyone a good laugh. Not made well.

This duck is absolutely adorable, but also a little demented. It's perfect, in other words! He looks like he's just escaped from the loony-bin with his wild eyes and spinning propeller hat, which is just how I like my ducks.

Seriously though, when you wind him up, he books it. I was expecting a slow-moving wind-up, but this guy pulled a wheelie several times. I don't believe I over-wound him, either.

The construction of the toy is great, and he's just an all-around delight.

I got this great toy for my wife for her birthday because of an ongoing joke about how I'm gyro gearloose from duckburg. It delighted her and our friends. Brought back memories of my childhood. The label says not a toy but for collectors. H---, it is a great toy and I will buy another one for my grandson. Quincey toys was also great in recovering from a shipping problem. Both toy and company have given great satisfaction.

I got this for my mom who collects antique toys. Though this isn't an antique, I thought she would like it. We all enjoyed watching the duck ride around on the bike.
