The Sci-Fi Channel has put together a great collection of original soundtracks from some of my favorite shows. Very professionally done.

Awesome CD, it has the 2 best themes of all time!!!

Alfred Hitchcock presents, and Mystery Science Theater 3000!!

It is a must! :)

This compilation features the theme music from some of the most evocative, creepiest, and darkest movies and TV shows ever produced. My favorites are from the The Fly, Videodrome, Twilight Zone, and Suspiria. Most of the movies and shows featured are of the horror/thriller/fantasy genre, so you can expect some really creepy, but exquisitely composed, music. The music sounds great and all in all is professionally put together... It is from the Sci-Fi Channel after all (when it still had a cool name...Syfy...pssht). Anyway, if you seen and enjoyed any of the movies featured on the disk, I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately for me, I ordered this CD a little too late for the tracks to make it onto my Halloween music compilation. But fortunately for you, you will know not to hesitate to purchase this and you will have the coolest, most unique, high-quality selections for any Halloween comp. I do not suggest playing this disc straight through, but rather to divide it up into purpose: listening/party music or scary sounds/haunted house music. There are plenty of tracks that will fulfill each need. This contains many moods: dark, ethereal, creepy, suspenseful, sweeping, and all of them beautiful!!

I purchased this based on my desire for the high quality recordings of movie soundtrack music from HALLOWEEN, THE OMEN, SUSPERIA, haha THE LABYRINTH, and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE. No doubt, they were the perfect versions of those themes. And then there are other less obvious but perfectly fitting movie themes. So stop searching for various cds that may or may not have original versions of a few good soundtracks, just buy this cd that has many perfect movie tracks.

But what really made me giddy was all the surprise TV gems on this comp. Now, I am not a theme music junkie, I am a Halloween junkie. I admittedly don't watch TV really and never heard most of the TV theme music on this disc. BUT the TV themes are exactly what you need to create a signature sound to your Halloween comp. If you don't know these TV themes, you will come to love them and wonder how you ever lived without them.

Now considering that certain key movies, such as PSYCHO, are not represented on this comp, you will still need other sources for Halloween mixes. And there are not any chainsaws or screaming women for your haunted house. But overall, this entire disc is indispensable for Halloween and makes most of your other scary cds wayside midi trash. So just get it and have fun deciding which tracks are good for a drunken night of costumed debauchery with your friends and which tracks are good for creeping out the candy grubbing kids in your haunted house.

If you,like me,love the horror tv themes of yesterday and recently,you'll love this cd!

This CD was really cool, however, I bought it because I thought the "Forever Knight" selection might have the words Lacroix says at the begining of every episode. It doesn't. It's got the same theme from the Soundtrack. The rest was really good though, except the one disappointment.
