5.0 out of 5 stars Great ideas for quality projects, July 1, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We borrowed this book from the library and liked it so much that I decided to buy it. It has lovely photography which makes each project very appealing. The instructions are very easy to follow. I disagree with the review that said the materials are hard to find, but you will need some basic tools (drill, hacksaw, utility knife, needle and thread) for some projects. Also, I would not recommend this book to someone without a backyard. It is not kitchen table science, but really requires access to the outdoors.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not great, September 29, 2005
This book provides a lot of crafts, but next to impossible ways of gathering material to actually complete them. I found the book useless without the help of a process or program to get the material from.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Projects, February 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I received the book only a few days after I ordered it. It was in perfect condition. It has great ideas for science projects that are interesting and go along with the science curriculum that kids are learning in school. I have already picked out several projects to make for the Science Fair.
