Pros: Full of good info, if you already have some idea. Like the science equivalent of a pocket foreign language dictionary (that is, if you already know the language but just need help with vocabulary). If you never learned this stuff in school, this might not make a lot of sense. Overall, a good reference book.Con: They really meant it when they said "pocket". The physical size is great, until you try reading the smaller print. I didn't think my eyes were getting so old...

The perfect pocket book!,

Handy sized book with an abundance of information pertaining to science. Great color photos and examples. I easily carry it with me in my purse and always have a place on my desktop for it. One of my favorite reference books.
