About the Author

Gregg Rickman edited The Film Comedy Reader (2001) and co-edited The Western Reader (1999) with Jim Kitses, both published by Limelight Editions. He has taught at San Francisco and Sonoma State Universities and at the University of California Santa Cruz. He has authored two books of interviews and one biography of Philip K. Dick, and has contributed essays and reviews to Film Quarterly, FilmFax, San Francisco Weekly, Video Watchdog and Wrapped in Plastic. He lives in Berkeley, California.
