The book I recieved does not look like the original, it is a reprint. That being said it is in reality a better format than the original.

This book is nothing like the actual book. It is simply a reprint. There's no binding, except a cheap black sticker that holds the book together!

I'm an 18 year old interested in the field of forensics, so although this book might be a bore to anyone not into fingerprint analysis, I found it to be quite interesting. It may be very wordy at times and things might be explained a little roughly but I've gotten a lot out of this book. There are a lot of informative diagrams but sometimes you may get lost having to flip between pages to look at the diagrams being referenced the page before, or sometimes almost several pages before.

I was told by my instructor that this is a must have for anyone going into the investigative feild, especially fingerprinting.although some of the information seems older, it really is quite relevant for todays standards of identifying and taking figerprints. a must have in my book too!

This was an interesting book, but very dry. It was necessary for my class, but the customer service end of this product was very good.
