5.0 out of 5 stars No Pushups, those are in Abs Of Steel 2, December 6, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Science of Fitness with Tamilee: I Want Those Abs! [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I think the one review that mentioned the pushups reviewed the wrong Tamilee Webb video. The "I Want those Abs" there isn't a single pushup. There are 2 15 minute workouts. Each has a minute of stretching before going to the floor. Workout 2 starts with a standing oblique move, but after that, the rest is on the floor. I like that, you don't have to get back up to do the obliques.

The 2nd workout is killer! Really burns! The first is geared towards beginners or just preparing yourself for the the 2nd workout. I highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars WITH THIS VIDEO YOU CAN GET THEM, March 6, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Science of Fitness with Tamilee: I Want Those Abs! [VHS] (VHS Tape)
WOW! I worked out last night with this video and there is no doubt that I worked my abs. This isn't just your average video. Tamilee really shows you how to do it right, and she has the abs to prove it. Tamilee talks you through the whole video, it's like you have a personal trainer right there helping to motivate you. I "Want Those Abs" and with this video I'm going to get them.

5.0 out of 5 stars More challenging than Abs of Steel 2, less annoying music, August 8, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: The Science of Fitness with Tamilee: I Want Those Abs! [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I was pretty psyched to see that Tamilee came out with a new ab video. Even though Abs of Steel 2 is an awesome video, it was about time for a little variety. This review is written in relation to Abs of Steel 2, since that is the only other ab video I know.

I like the concept of having starter/easier workout that can be done to prepare for the much more challenging 2nd workout. I tried to do both the first day I got it. BZZZZ...wrong answer, Tamilee did her homework and the 2nd workout will not let you off easy. Not only is the first workout a good prep, it is also good for those days you've already done an extra hard work already. The first workout is good for a solid burn, but is achievable even if you are pretty fatigued already.

The second workout is challenging, with lots of new workout positions. There is a "3-stage" ab routine in the second workout that is difficult, don't be surprised if you can only do one or two stages of it at first... the "3-stage" routine is the most challenging, and of course the most effective.

Pros:
1)Music isn't annoying and is rarely distracting
2)New ab routines
3)MUCH better results

Cons:
1)The description of the video did not indicate you'd need a hand weight (it is only used for one routine in 2nd workout). This barely warrants a "con", but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Overall:
VERY happy with video, far exceeded my expectations. Well worth the $15. I STRONGLY recommend this video.
