This is the most involved CD and Workbook set from Caroline that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. It is a very detailed tool box, and one that will provide hours of opportunity for self-reflection and awareness. Caroline Myss and Norman Shealy (MD) speak on the CD's. Dr Norm Shealy has some fascinating medical details concerning the visualisations contained within this series and their effect on raising the levels of Calcitonin and DHEA (as well as some other hormones) for example.
It is not a series that aims to teach you how to become a medical intuitive to read other people's energy. Rather, it aims to teach you to be more perceptive and intuitive about your own physical, mental and spiritual/energetic body.
It has some good Visualisations within it, that last ~ 30 mins each. The Ring of Fire, Earth, Air, Water and Crystal are great.
Interestingly, the Ring of Crystal Visualisation seems to go along almost the exact same points of focus in the body as I learnt through Healing Touch in a treatment known as the CHAKRA CONNECTION. This technique is acknowledged by Janet Mentgen founder of the Healing Touch program to have been learnt from the renowned Dr W.Brugh Joy (Author of "Joy's Way"). I have found the CHAKRA CONNECTION to have powerful and beneficial effects,both for people I work with and when done on myself. Although I have only done the Ring of Crystal visualisation a few times now, you can feel the points Norm Shealy focuses on to really be connecting.
I can recommend this series to those interested in energetic medicine and healing, and for those who have enjoyed previous Caroline Myss CD's. This Series can help empower everybody who chooses to use the tools given within it. For those with or without a medical background, the visualisations are clearly explained and diagrams given in the extensive 92 page workbook.
I think I will be re-listening to (as with all Caroline's CD's, because each time you listen to it you hear different gems of wisdom) and benefiting from this series on The Science of Medical Intuition for many years to come.

Inducting the reader into learning about chakras, creative visualization, guided imagery, the power of thought, and much, much more, The Science Of Medical Intuition is an enriching and rewarding self-teaching guide to extending personal awareness into scientific and metaphysical realms alike. The Science Of Medical Intuition would make a welcome and highly prized addition to dedicated Alternative Medicine and Metaphysical Studies collections.

Last year I was opened to an entirely new way of viewing life by reading and listening to tapes by Carolyn Myss, including Energy Anatomy and Sacred Contracts. Then this year The Science of Medical Intuition really opened my mind, heart, and spirit - changing my reality, relationships, creativity, health, and capacity for joy. Don't miss this CD!!!

Excellent information! Caroline and Norm lead the life student through insights into body, mind and spirit. Great tools for living life to the fullest of our potentials. I highly recommend any source of study by Caroline Myss and Norm Shealy.

I have enormous respect for Dr. Norm Shealy, and find Carolyn Myss to be very knowledgeable (although somewhat blunt and at times, rude).. This is a fascinating study that takes more than once to listen to. It's a lesson you'll want to listen to again and again and again. I have to admit, I enjoyed the parts presented by Dr. Shealy more than the ones presented by Carolyn, but that's not to say her information isn't just as valuable. It's just to say I don't really enjoy someone "lecturing" as if they need to talk down to me (and to anyone listening).. But there is a wealth of information in this program, and well worth your time. I'm not quite through the program once, but will be starting over once I complete it, because I know it's going to take time,for all this information to sink in and register. There's also a workbook with this program, that I'll begin with my next listen to..
The set I purchased is on cassette, at a fraction of the new price. I really appreciate that Amazon allows sellers to list items like this. I've gotten a lot of really sweet deals on audio books on cassettes, that would cost a heck of a lot more on cd.. At any rate, if you are interested in energy healing and medical intuition, this is a great place to start. For me, knowing Dr. Shealy is a very well respected nuerosurgeon, and that he realizes the power of energy healing and intuition, makes it that much more powerful.

If you are serious about improving the quality of your life, you will really see changes if you listen to each program carefully and follow the suggested exercises. Moving into higher consciousness requires strong discipline skills and a willingness to explore new concepts suggested by the very talented authors, Caroline Myss and C. Norman Shealy, M.D. They do know what they are doing!

As always, I am thrilled and informed by Carolyn Myss. I have learned to much from her programs and I am grateful that she has put together so many, that are available to work with at home. I never hesitate to choose anything that she has any part in. Awesome!!
