Very easy to follow! Uses decent examples. Has a ton of vocabulary, but allows for easy highlighting! The website listed doesn't work anymore unfortunately, so that's not a good thing. Great pictures too!

This is a well written text book. It does focus on the positive (what went right) aspect of psychology and not as much on the "what went wrong".

This was the textbook for Introduction to Psychological Science at the University of South Florida in the Fall of 2010. This book is different from other psychology textbooks because it truly is `An Appreciative View'. It takes a positive perspective on psychology as a science that can improve peoples lives. Studying was actually enjoyable with this book. For the most part it is written in plain english so it may also make a great psychology reference book for the layman; I'll be keeping my copy rather than selling it back to the book store.

i had order the laura king psychology with an appreciative view. this is such an awesome book, it was as you described. i have stayed up with my class.i am attending to Arizona western community college, this was a required book i have really enjoy it. Laura king study guide is very helpful in understanding psychology.
