The Science of Success

The Science of Success is the best book on Success I have ever read. I've probably read every good book on personal growth and development (i.e., success) ever written, certainly all of the classics by Hill, Maltz, Allen, Mandino, and many others. James Ray's book (and tape and workbook series) covers every base better than any other, leaving its readers with a solid understanding of the universal laws behind the thoughts, feelings and actions needed to create lasting success in your life and work.

Ray maintains that anyone who has ever succeeded in life has done so by being aligned with the laws of success. The Science of Success starts out by revealing these universal laws in a systematic, easy-to-understand way. Then Mr. Ray follows up with the simple and straight-forward principles you can use to put the power of these laws to work to "live the life you dream of living."

He explains that you don't need to understand how these laws work any more than you need to know how and why electricity operates in order to use an appliance or turn on a light switch. All you need do is study the laws and apply the principles. The key, says Ray, is simply to live and work in harmony with the laws.

One of James Ray's talents I appreciate most is his giving a scientific spin to some seemingly airy-fairy stuff. He explains how everything is energy, and energy is always changing. (The concept comes from quantum physics.) We can shape rock-solid reality (just energy) with our thoughts (also energy). Both thoughts and objects, as energy, must play by the universal rules of physics. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation is simply that everything changes constantly and is forever in motion. There is truly a science to achieving success and this awesome book illuminated a number of key principles which I have started using in every area of my life.

It doesn't read like a novel; you're not necessary going to be whisked away to far away lands with rich characters...but, you do learn how to use PROVEN principles and how to apply your passionate energy and imagination to define what success is for you and then how to go about achieving that experience in life. The bonus is that the author explains complex concepts in a very down-to-earth and practical way so the information is easy to understand and retain.

When I first started reading the book, I would take a chapter per week and read, re-read and re-read again all the rich information until I felt that I could teach it to someone else. I wouldn't read ahead until I was certain I understood the principles highlighted in each chapter and how I could use it in my life to experience success. Now, almost 2 years later, I use the book to refresh my memory and to keep me inspired as I continue to grow my business doing what I love to do...nurturing and guiding artists in unleashing their creative wisdom!

If you are serious about experiencing a life of bliss, filled with emotional, spiritual, and financial rewards this book will guide the way.

This book has changed my life! For years I have been working on "changing my stories", but it wasn't until reading about the power of paradigms in The Science of Success that I finally understood this life changing concept. I had to learn that there is no such thing as competition. For a massage therapist in a small city saturated with massage therapists that is a very important paradigm to change. As soon as I did that and learned to be grateful for my gifts and my clients, my business began to grow by leaps and bounds! In just a few months of putting the concepts I learned in this amazing book to work, my fledgling massage business doubled!

It's been almost a year since I first read the book. I have now read it several times, and each time something new catches my eye or my understanding deepens. My husband has read it now, as well. As a result of putting these concepts we learned to practice, we have attracted new businesses, family vacations paid for by work, new home, new car, and new amazing friends into our lives!

The concepts in this book are tried and true. They are timeless and worth repeating over and over again; this could explain the reason you will see similar concepts taught by other success coaches in other books. The thing to remember, especially when learning about success is that there will always be someone offering the same or similar thing you offer, and what speaks to one person may not speak to the next. That is why this book is so amazing to me. Sure there are others who may say something similar, but this one spoke to me. It was a fun, easy & quick read which is important for a busy mom/wife/small business owner! Most importantly the principles taught in the book were easy to understand and then put into practice, thus rendering quick results! Quick ROI is exactly what every successful person needs!

I received James Ray's book for Christmas, two years ago. Since that time it has become a trusted friend. It has changed my life. I have read self-help books for over 40 years. This one has done more for me than all the others put together. It is simple to understand but contains all the great truths in a systematic plan that anyone can understand. James has written it in a clear, concise, logical manner. His understanding and grasp of the success fundamentals gives you the ability to see and believe it will work for you. It will do wonders for you. Get the book and let it do its magic.
