A Scientist Investigates the Paranormal,
By
This review is from: Science and the Supernatural: An Investigation of Paranormal Phenomena (Hardcover)
Taylor reviews various areas of parapsychology, urging an open-minded approach towards these paranormal or non-material phenomena. He reviews the history of reported events of these various paranormal phenomena, then examines notable historical events.
He then proceeds to report his own extensive investigations and experiments to attempt to document these, in terms of scientifically-verifiable material, physical characteristics, such as radio waves or other radiation frequencies, temperature changes, blood pressure, etc. The sub-title gives the areas he investigates in the book: A rigorous investigation of such paranormal phenomena as psychic healing, clairvoyance, telepathy and precognition.
