Amazon says ages 5-10. Box says 8 & up.
7 yr old loved it. Read a lot of it himself and was able to do some of the experiments himself. I think the behavior of magnets is especially concrete, fun & "magical" for the kids.

I found this to be overpriced ! I was expecting much more and was really disappointed. My 7 year old went through this in a day and is no longer interested in it. Do not get this if you really want something that your kid will play for days.
