The Bel-Art Scienceware F377810000 Teflon (PTFE) magnetic stir bar retriever has an internal magnet made from alnico V (an alloy of aluminum, nickel, iron, and cobalt) for removing a large magnetic stir bar that is inside a container. The retriever is made from chemically inert Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene, or PTFE) and can be used with corrosive chemicals. It has a T-shaped handle for gripping.
